I love it! For me, it smells exactly like the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 59 (purple bottle), but I like the PHLUR one more. I can definitely smell the top note of the pink pepper, and once it dries down, it's a delicious warm vanilla with a hint of sandalwood, which adds depth and prevents it from smelling too sweet. I can see how some who want a sweeter scent layer the Vanilla Skin with the PHLUR Heavy Cream. I might try it. Since I've just received it, I cannot attest to the longevity of the PHLUR Vanilla Skin. The Sol de Janeiro 59 lasts all day for me, especially if I layer it with the matching body lotion. For the size and price, both brands offer a 240 ml/8.1 fl oz bottle; the PHLUR is $1 less.

My everyday perfume! Get so many compliments. Always rebuy this exact one. Last awhile and smells exactly like vanilla if you want to go that route.

I love this scent!! It was a gift for my daughter and she wears it every day. It’s not your plain jane vanilla scent. It is more elevated and “fancy”. It smells great on its own or paired with coordinating scents. I wish the price wasn’t so high for a body mist, but the smell is amazing and the bottle seems like it’s going to last a long time so I guess it’s worth it. Definitely will buy again!! This was packaged well with no leaks also.

I use this in my hair while it’s still damp from the shower. The scent lasts longer that way as it soaks into your hair strands. It’s a warm vanilla scent and smells great as your hair dries. If you use it while your hair is damp, which is what I always do, the smell will last for several days. Which is amazing! The spray nozzle mists well. Overall, it’s definitely worth the money.

This is the review you’re looking for; Vanilla skin: Scent is great, gourmand. Has that slight scent of being a more ‘adult’ smell because you can smell a tinge of the sandalwood every now and again. People have commented on the body mist not really having great longevity but I think That is a mix of things—1.) this is a body mist. It’s meant to be reapplied. 2.) You’re not applying it correctly 3.) Skin sweats and clothes rub on it so it makes sense that it might not last on your skin. Those things being said, here is how I apply it so that it sticks for ALMOST the duration of the day. Right after I get out of the shower, a couple sprays of this goes on. I follow up with a lotion moisturizer and THEN a little bit of body oil. For reference I use G0ld B0 nd ultra healing and LifeFl0 almond oil but I don’t think the Brand matters so much as you’re giving the body mist something to adhere to. After moisturizing I spritz more, on my pulse points. And once more in my dried hair before I leave for work. I do want to point out that the scent sticks GREAT on clothes and hair. Long after I cant Smell it on me, if I flip my hair around I can Definitely smell it. Phlur Heavy Cream; This scent isn’t as gourmand to me as vanilla skin but still is sweet. I’ve heard people say it is reminiscent of sunscreen and that might be because lots of sunscreens are fragranced with coconut or some type of floral. Upon first spray I sort of agree but it dries much different. It dries and smells very mildly of something like lemon frosting, but if you are someone who can’t get smells out of your head you’re definitely going to continue to smell sunscreen. I read some comments that said it smelled too much like a male cologne and I disagree. I bought Both of these in a pack because they’re supposed to smell good together and honestly the vanilla skin overpowers heavy cream and the heavy cream sits very lightly beneath it. Honestly ? Skip the pack and just buy two bottle of vanilla skin. Are there other cheaper body mists on the market ? Yeah. Generally with most of them I smell a little bit of alcohol. Should this be $38? No. $28 seems far more reasonable especially for something that is not eau de parfum—but that’s just me. Smells great, lasts if you use it right. Pricey.

This body spray has gotten all the hype so naturally, I wanted to try it. It’s quite expensive, but it is a larger size as it is a body spray not a perfume. Still, I think the price for me would cause me to not repurchase. The smell is like a vanilla smell with a slight spice. Spicy might not be a good word, but it’s not like a sweet vanilla. It’s kind of more of a manly smell. All in all I mainly use it for an air freshener or linen spray. Hardly do I ever spray it on my body. But I can tell you one thing, it is not going to waste!! 🤣

I love this skin and body mist. Its super light it doesnt smell like harmful chemicals like most do. The cap is super thick so you dont have to worry about breaking it. My all time go to.

Smells good. Layers well with other scents like cashmere skin, beach skin and heavy cream. The scent slightly changes through the day. Love getting little whiffs even into the evening. Will buy again. I will also mention the vanilla skins all smell different from eachother/ deo smells differently than the body mist, also smells different than the oil. They all smell good though . The deo is the best

This is one of the nicest vanilla scents ever! It's not too sweet and I get tonnes of compliments when I wear it.
