Very good, my plants are doing excellent with it!
I bought this thinking it was soil for potted plants. Not the sellers fault. I didnt read the description in full. So I get the delivery and the 1st thing I notice is the smell. OMG! Like horse poop only stronger. I smelled it before the bag was even opened, I almost threw it away. I read the directions and decided to go for it. I had 3 small (baby) plants that needed help (so to speak) one being a Lemon tree that I sprouted from a seed (just a twig with leaves at this point). My plants were alive but not thriving. I took some regular potting soil and mixed in some SUPER SOIL and filled half the 3 flower pots with it, maybe a little less then half and with that on the bottom planted the 3 plants on top filling the rest of the pot with regular potting mix. Thus hiding the smell! I will tell you that in just a little over a week these plants looked healthier and somewhat larger. New leaves are growing from my snake plant and my rubber tree. They are fuller. and the 3rd plant, my lemon tree. I started this tree from a seed, it was growing but very slow. Now its about 1/3 of an inch taller and the leaves are greener. Its hard to explain but this mixture is good! Im so happy! I love plants but I just dont have a green thumb. Last the smell. I have my plants on my deck right now. They have been there all summer. But by using this soil mixture only on the bottom I do believe I will be able to bring them in at the end of the summer and not have to worry about the smell. I see great results in a short time, Im giving this a 5 star rating. Very happy with my purchase!

Works great, no additional supplements needed
I've used this a few times, with Fox Farm's Ocean Forest as the base soil, and have been very happy with the results. No more mixing and measuring fertilizers, no need to worry about flushing, just water the plants as needed. Used with with fabric pots and self-watering bases, my grows are about as handsfree as possible. The smell isn't all that bad and it goes away in a few days. Will definitely use this again.

Great if you can stand the smell
Good: My plants are doing well. Not so good: This smells like poop. The smell is VERY STRONG. Strong enough that when I had a friend over, she thought one of my dogs had just pooped somewhere near where we were sitting (the pots where on the deck steps about 6 ft. away). I mixed this 50/50 with soil in the bottom 1/3 of 5 gallon fabric pots.

Never going back to nutrient feeding!
Yes, this stuff STINKS! BUT the stink is a good stink for these plants, plus it goes away after a few weeks. I mixed and added to my fabric pots in the garage because of that. I have been growing for the better part of 15 years now and this is my first grow not using the Fox Farm nutrient packs and PHing my water/ Cal Mag, etc. I mixed and followed the instructions on the bag to the T and have THE HEALTHIEST looking plants I have seen since my last grow in an old chicken run. I have 2 girls in 5 gal fabric pots and mixed with Fox Farm Ocean Forest for the base soil. The plant growth was relatively normal until those roots started getting to the bottom portion of the pot. They exploded with super healthy growth and green as ever. Not a single sign of any deficiencies. 3-4 weeks into flowering, the trichome production is night and day difference to my last grows along with the overall health of the plant. I've literally just used (well 7.2ph) tap water. The living microbes in the soil have kept the PH in check and have helped put out, thus far, a magnificent grow. If you are looking to make the switch to living soil/ stictly organic, DO IT!!

Incredibly stinky (in a good way)
Incredibly stinky, which I guess is a good thing. Don’t touch it directly with your hands, otherwise you’ll be smelling stinky fingers for a day; washing doesn’t get it off. I don’t know what the shelf life is but it gets less stinky over time, which I guess is a bad thing. I would plan on using the whole bag freshly bought. I have been buying a bag or two every year.

This stuff is amazing!
This gorilla cookies plant was looking sorry and pitiful. I don’t know why I was using my standard nutrient regimen and she just didn’t like it. I switched to this and top fed instead of the bottom feeding after she was already about 4 weeks into veg. A week later she started reacting as if she was en entirely different plant. Growth has been vigorous with no signs of underfeeding and in fact just slight tip discoloration. I’ve done nothing but water with tap water left bubbling for 24 hours… this is day four of flower and she’s looking like she’s gonna be a big healthy girl… highly recommend this stuff… it’s changed the way I grow
