Makes a FANTASTIC Reward Box for Good Behaviors!
I actually bought this for a use not intended. I'm a homeschool mom and saw the opportunity to use this as a reward system to motivate my younger kids to do their lessons and start helping out around the house. I never imagined it would work as well as it has! My kids now eagerly work on school and beg me for chores just so they can open a little mystery door. Magic Box! I'm so impressed. The downside is the size. The compartments are small. But I quickly realized writing non-physical rewards on slips of paper work great, avoids sugar, and keeps junky reward toys out of the house. I can get creative about what kind of rewards I put in there, and each day I check the rewards, swap out new options, and remove anything I am not willing to follow through on. Rewards I put inside include things like: • 15 minutes of screen time • 15 minutes of computer time • A quick board game with Mom • A quick card game with Mom • Go for a walk with Mom • 15 minutes of extra time with Mom after bedtime • Sleep in on a school day • Choose a dinner for next week's meal plan • Choose the movie on our next movie night • Choose the restaurant the next time we eat out • Indoor picnic • Build a fort • 20 minute activities such as painting, play dough, kinetic sand, etc. • A yummy drink • A packaged snack (usually for outings only) • A few M&Ms • A piece of gum • Any other small candies. Things that will fit include a Mini Snickers (Fun Size is too large), a reeses mini cup, a tootsie roll, etc. I felt it was a little pricey so I went hunting for a similar product, and was surprised to find that there is seriously nothing like it. Everything is see-through! I think much of the appeal for my kids is the anticipation of opening a mystery door, so not being able to see what is inside is key. The ONLY thing that I found even remotely similar was a bead organizer that was even smaller, or medication organizers... and I don't think I want to geach my kids to go looking into pill cases for rewards. Lol. This product may be a similar design but it is very clearly designed for kids and would never be mistaken or mixed up with a pill organizer. My point is, if you're wondering if it's worth the cost, yes it is, and if you're thinking of looking for another option, there probably isn't one.

Awesome find! A must have for a curious toddler!
This tray is a huge hit with my toddler, snacks or no snacks! As soon as I got it out of the box he was very curious, we spent about 30 minutes just opening and closing the small compartments. He is almost 21 months old, opening the lids is a little hard for him sometimes but he is figuring it out. It got even more interesting when I’ve put snacks in it. The tray is well made, no issues with opening and closing the lids. It is dishwasher safe, which is great because let’s be honest - washing it by hand would be a pain. The compartments are pretty small, but since you get 18 of them, you can still pack a good amount of snacks. For reference, you can comfortably fit about 4 goldfish per compartment. I think it’s more suitable for dry snacks rather than fruit, if I think of fruit probably blueberries or quartered grapes would be your only options because of the size of the compartments. I’m planing to use it mostly for travel, as it is pretty thin and compact and fits comfortably in the diaper bag and since each compartment has an individual lid the snacks don’t get mixed even when you shake the tray or turn it upside down.

Great for toddlers (better at 2 than 10 months)
We originally bought this for a flight when our daughter was about 10 months old. At that age, she didn’t quite have the hand strength to push the button hard enough to open the compartments herself, so we ended up putting it away for about 6–7 months. Fast forward - she’s now 2 years old and we use it every single time we go to a restaurant. It keeps her busy, makes snack time more fun, and gives her a little independence since she can open each compartment herself. For size reference, we usually put Annie’s fruit snack bunnies in it. The compartments are best for small snacks - I’d say nothing bigger than about two stacked Cheez-Its. I took off one star because one of the compartment doors won’t open when you push the lever. Since it’s only one and the rest work fine, it wasn’t worth the hassle of exchanging it - and our daughter has already memorized which one is the “broken” one. Overall, it’s been great for toddler outings, just probably better suited for 18+ months rather than younger babies.

Best Travel Entertainer!
This was one of the best travel items I got for our toddler that not only entertained but also fed her! Our toddler was so entertained with this game snack box. We used it for an international travel. We used it during the long flight, we used it on long travels in car or train. Our toddler was very well entertained until she got to know what's inside each spot, but still got entertained for a good amount of time. Friends and family were also amazed by it. A little tip for child's care taker: I tried to be creative and each time I filled the box with different items as much as possible. I also combined healthy and unhealthy snacks, in some spots healthy, some unhealthy. What you put in there depends on child's age, diet and preferences. The only watch out is to be careful with creating bad eating habits as this may cause kids to not eat properly when they snack and sort of getting into an unhealthy habit. So in order for our kid to get back to normal meal routines and eating properly, we completely put the box away after our travel and hide it and won't use it until next travel. On those days that you use the snack box, expect your child to not eat their meals like they used to as they may get full or uninterested. We had some challenges in the beginning but accepted and decided to be flexible during our travel and instead tried to put more healthy items that our child also likes to eat. Here are what snacks we put that could fit in the box and worked for us as well: Healthy snacks were Dates, Walnuts, Pistachios, sour, dried fruits like plums, apricot, mandarins, freeze dried strawberries, banana chips, (most Trader Joe's nuts and dried fruits in general) sesame rice crackers, Unhealthy snacks were M&Ms, gummy bears.

Great gift for young children
Bought these for my grandkids and also as a gift for a friend's child. The kids love them. They make snack time fun, because they are playing a game. Perfect size for the amount of snacks. They can easily travel also. I think this is a great product and excellent quality for the price.

I like it
Love the concept, great for when you need to stall snack or make it more of a game. I bring it to church and will hide an M&M in each one under a healthier snack. Only complaint is sometimes the doors pop open on their own or you have to press multiple times to get them to stick shut. It would be nice if the sections were a little bigger but we make it work and it’s enough of a snack for my 2 year old by the time she is finishes.

Amazing Time Waster for Toddlers
Love love this activity food tray! My one year old loves to open and close little containers. I plan on using this on a flight for 5 hours. I love that I can put little snacks in each little compartment and let him open each one. I feel like this will give me lots of entertainment time for him. I do feel like it is rather expensive for what you are getting but no one else sells this same concept so it is a one of a kind item. It is daily light! It would also work when he gets older to play a matching game with things besides food so it has more than one function! Great product!

Great for my 2 year old
We took this to Disneyland to keep my 2-year old occupied during long waits. It has been a hit. She loves exploring and finding out what snacks are hiding inside. Each compartment is very small, slightly bigger than a single cheez-it, deep enough to hold 3 cheez-its each. So it doesn’t hold a lot of snacks but is definitely a fun ‘snacktivity’

Would buy again in a heartbeat
This snack box is fab for hiding small sweets and getting kids to spend that little bit longer getting them out. My daughter and son both love it (2&5) and I think I would buy a second one so they don't have to share. The compartments are relatively small and it would be difficult to hide bigger healthier snacks in there. But works well for sweets no bigger than Mentos.

Brilliant with some small tweaks
Really looking forward to using this as a teaching tool in lessons! I found that the "pop up" of the lids was limited and it was tricky to keep the lids up to reach or see what was inside each compartment, but found that a small tweak meant the lids would pop up and stay open until pressed closed again. You can carefully remove the green lids and pull out the silicone "spring", then flip it so that it bends upwards instead of downwards, (see photographs for a reference) replace the spring and the lid, and then the lids pop open and stay open beautifully.

Súper divertido!!
Excelente calidad !! El material es muy bueno. Le di al principio la utilidad con los snacks, pero ya cuando no fue tan atractivo como para la comida lo estoy utilizando para jugar memoria, súper útil y divertido ya que los niños pueden agregar las cosas para el juego
