Great Unmanaged 10Gb Switch
I've not had the thermal/throttling issues some others have had with this unit, but I used the included magnets to attach it to the case of an old Optiplex I use as a pfSense box, which might be helping. It acts as a kingpin in my home network - all of my 10Gb traffic passes through its SFP ports - and it works great. I'm able to get full 10Gb to my router from my 4 10Gb devices and max out my 1.2Gb WAN connection. I only have two devices plugged into the RJ45 ports though - an AP and a Hue Bridge that are both only 1G, so I can't report on thermals if you fully saturate the 2.5Gb ports. Small side note, I can't stop reading the brand name as "fifty dolla", which is hilarious.

This works really well
I am using this as the primary router for my network which is all running at 2.5G. My hard lines to my other routers connect through this router. This works well with my other, other brand routers and my Eero routers / WIFI nodes.

Pretty good for the price
I have only had it for a short while, but this switch has been great. I am able to get pretty much 2.5Gb speeds in my apartment now. While I am not using them, the included magnets could be useful. I have not been able to try out the 10gb port since I don't have anything else with an SFP+ port yet. While the case is metal, it definitely feels like a $40 Ethernet switch. Then again, how often do you really interact with it? So far, I would buy this again.

Just plugged it in and it worked and keeps on working.

Good value, runs cool.
Quiet, cool little 2.5gB switch. I only used the Ethernet ports and that’s what I’m reviewing. I did not use the fiber transceivers. The switch flows at wire speed even when loaded. It is solid and well made. The metal case is a plus and sure helps with keeping the switch cool under load. The “mount to another metal surface for additional cooling” seems a bit gimmicky but…. If you want to mount it in a big metal plate and drill holes to attach the switch, go for it! I would buy this switch again, especially if I am going to use a fiber component in the LAN. Good value.

Great for short connections, but not good for long cat5e cables.
Appears to work great when cables are short, but it had a hard time pushing 2.5Gbe through 60ft of cat5e. It would periodically drop to 100Mbe. I replaced the two switches with a pair of Ubiquity switches, and I am able to push 10Gbe now, no problem.

Good Value
Works well and good value with the multiple 2.5G and Spf ports. No issues integrating with Ubiquity and TP-Link infrastructure.

Work great. No noise .

I had an older Sodola switch for my ISP's slightly odd 2.5 Gbps SFP fibre module that had been serving me well for over a year without issues, but upgraded some other parts of my network to 10 Gbps connections and decided to get this one due to its two SFP+ ports (one for my ISP's fibre module and one to my router over 10 Gbps DAC). This switch is more compact, more power efficient, and runs cooler. It is also apparently faster. The relatively large buffer (8 Mb/1 MiB) means I'm not worried about packet bursts from mixing a 10 Gbps connection with my 1.5 Gbps ISP speed. My speed test throughput actually increased a couple hundred Mbps with this new switch. I'm quite pleased. I wasn't planning to use the magnetic feet but they actually came in handy for mounting it upside down under a shelf in an awkward gap in my mini rack. I was only able to screw in three of them but that was enough.

I like Sodola. I am not to sure about the aluminium build, it makes for a very small case. The performance is brilliant, throughput is very good. My previous Tp-link switch was using 20 watts these are good for 4 watts. You have to take that into consideration in these days of high energy prices. Very small footprint, quite a bit of heat generated but that is normal. Nice to see the power supply plug back on the same side as the RJ45's about time.

The manufacturer saved about 5 cents by not including a reset button, so if someone changed ip adress from default 192.168.2.1 in webui and send it back to amazon, you simply cant get access to it...
