It takes about 1-2 hours to be effective, but eventually they work amazingly well. You have to leave them on until the bite is healed, and if you do they help almost completely remove any sense of needing to itch and reduce the reaction. If you take them off prematurely it will start to itch again. The sooner you notice the bite and can put this on the better as the longer between bite and application I’ve found the longer until effective. Too long and they help, but you will still itch. That being said, I normally don’t even notice until 24 hours+ later, and they still work. They adhere very well to the skin- not immediately. But if you leave them be after about an hour you can shower, go swimming, etc. and they won’t fall off. They are scent free. I generally have severe reactions mosquitoes bites, that have sent me to the doctors repeatedly in the past. Using these, my reactions have been controlled, limited redness, and the size of the bite stays small. I will definitely be keeping these on hand moving forward.

These patches are unbelievable! I have skeeter syndrome and am very allergic to mosquito bites. My bites swell up so huge, and get very hot to the touch. It can take about 3 days for the swelling to go down and about a week for the bite to heal. It also impacts my self esteem having such ugly reactions that (I think) people notice. I tell you this, because these patches offered me relief that I just can't believe! The horrible reactions like swelling and itching don't happen if I put these patches on as soon as I notice the bite. If I put the patch on the same day, I don't get an allergic reaction. This is truly a miracle! No more bandaids, just pop on a Cutter patch and let it do its thing! It helps me avoid scratching so it heals so much faster. I will take these with me on future trips, Disney visits, camping, etc. Heck, I might just keep some in my purse for all other times. I wish I knew about these sooner, but am so happy to have found something that works!

Works well enough to help avoid scratching and it does help with healing bites faster. They are like the pimple patches. When we used it, the bites didn't scar which was great. Overall, pretty satisfied, but a little expensive for what they are but if you want to minimize scarring and scratching. They don't remove itchiness perse, but probably make your bite area less exposed to rubbing which helps. Also if you have some blistering, it does help draw the moisture away like pimple patches.

Very effective remedy to mosquito bites. They adhere to skin for days and are water resistant. The itch goes away as soon as you wear them. So happy about the purchase!

Holy cow I had no idea hydrocolloid patches worked so well for bug bites. First photo is what my legs usually look like after I get bit (these bites are weeks old still healing from the scratching) and the second photo is 3 days in (usually they’d be bleeding and red by now). I’m usually scarred all summer from bug bites. No matter how hard I try not to scratch I always end up breaking them open and scaring. So far anything I’ve covered with the patch have barely bothered me and they haven’t broken open at all. 50/50 on if the patches survive a shower. Otherwise some of them stay on for 24 hours without budging, if my skin wasn’t completely dry or I didn’t get it adhered all the way they do start to lift but that’s more of user error. So far if I put one on after I’ve been scratching it helps take away the itch, even if I don’t get it on right after I’m bit. I also found this brand has really good pricing for the amount they supply.

They are not long term relief but they do work quickly

These really work! My kids love them & the adults do too. Similar to pimple patches; they peel off & stick on. Comes in different sizes & non scented. Doesn’t burn or cause skin irritation. Peels off easily and doesn’t hurt to peel off either. A little advice for the patches to stick better is make sure you apply the patches to dry skin. No lotion or oils, make sure the area is completely dry.

These remind me of the pimple patches. They are very easy to apply and stay on. I wouldn’t say the relief is instant but once you place it over your bug bite you won’t even know it was there after an hour. They also come in multiple sizes. I was happy with this purchase.
