A marvellous read!
Everyone knows about Ronaldo and what an amazing player he is. This book just shows all the hardwork and the pain behind the making of one of the greatest players of this generation. Guillem Balague goes through every minute detail to know how Cristiano Ronaldo became the player we all know and appreciate today. A marverllous read for anyone who appreciates hardwork and pains in all spheres of life. A must read. Kudos Guillem!

The author seems to have a bit of a negative bias against Cristiano and his achievements which shows up in his writing where he places his own opinions. Although I must say this is as neutral of an account that you will find of the rare biographies about Cristiano. I wish there was a deeper look into how his teammates and coaches felt about him in one-on-one interviews between the author and the people. It's a nice read but not a must read by any means. I stand to be corrected when I say Cristiano did not authorise this so you do not get any history or context from Crisitano which would have been a nice touch even if it were self-inflated for his own ego. This would've helped us know him a bit more. I await a Ronaldo vs the people vs neutral author account. Will a documentary produced by Amazon or Netflix in a few years be better and more engaging than this book? Probably.

Ce livre doit être sympa. Je l'ai offert à mon mari. Cependant je n'ai pas vérifié que le livre était complètement en anglais. Je l'ai renvoyé
