Gives a good colour
This colour has drawn compliments Its long lasting with the top coat put on. It gives a good shine when the top coat is applied. Easy to remove with a nail varnish remover.

Caviar Bar is who she thinks she is!!
Caviar Bar is such a gorgeous colour! Some of the pictures are misleading due to lighting but it is definitely, very obviously a beautiful dark navy tone and not black. I don’t know what formulation essie uses for the gel-like range but the darker colours always come out streak-free and dry very fast! Highly recommend this.

Great dark colour
I’ve been using the Gel Couture for a while, and I’m happy about it. It’s easy to apply, looks great and lasts over a week if applied with the top. I wanted some darker shades for autumn/winter so I decided to go for the Caviar Bar shade. Looks great, just what I was looking for.

Use this if you want gel like nails
Recently saw these on tic toc, already on my 5th day and no chips they look so good so impressed, just if your not great with applying nail polish, do light coats. I did two coats then topped with the essie gel like top coat clear, also before placing the nail varnish, I used a 6 way nail buffer to prep the nails

Don't like the formula
The colour is good and it seems to last a long time, but the formula is horrible to apply to wider nails. It's very thick and so quick drying that it clumps and streaks if your nail is wide enough to need more than one stroke per coat. It reminds me of trying to apply old polish that's started to dry out, only this is brand new so it's even more annoying. I have got big hands and wide nails but I don't normally have this problem. Maybe if you have more narrow nails it will be fine. Personally though, I'm not buying it again.

I love the Essie Gek Couture nail polish! If you buy the top coat too, it works great and stays on much longer. This one is a beautiful colour! It glides on nails really well too
