Rough Country Hard Low Profile Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover for Ram 1500 (2019-2026) & 1500 TRX (2021-2024) – Flush Mount Aluminum Bed Cover

Great tonneau cover. I installed it the week prior to selling my Ram 1500, and it really elevated the trade value of my truck. Durable and valuable. Easy to install and to use. Quickly repurchased the same rough country tonneau cover for my new truck! Can easily keep the bed dry and secure, too.

Easy installation; Solid design; Great value. No its not as strong as a Diamondback, but its less than 1/3 the cost. Delivered in 2 days, rather than 8 weeks. I've looked at covers in stores, online and on other trucks. For me personally, this hit the sweet spot of usability, cost, and installation. Not as strong or expensive as a Diamondback - But only a few hundred dollars more than the really cheap covers that have PLASTIC clamps. All Clamps are Metal on the Rough Country. As you can see from photos the fit is really good - I closed it up and lay in the truck bed and could not find any light leaking in. Highly recommend.

I use this Rough Country hard low-profile tri-fold tonneau cover most days on my 2025 Ram 1500 to keep items protected in the truck bed. From an overall build and usability standpoint, it’s been a solid addition. The quality is noticeably better than soft covers. It has held up well under the Texas sun and still looks great. Aesthetically, the flush-mount design complements the truck nicely. Installation was very straightforward. I installed it myself without any issues, and it didn’t take long to get it mounted and adjusted. It does a good job keeping rain and debris out in normal conditions, but it’s not completely watertight. Water can work its way in, especially during truck washes or heavy spray. That hasn’t been a deal-breaker for me, but it’s worth setting expectations. The main reason for the 4-star rating is security. It wouldn’t be difficult for someone to slip a small hook between the tailgate and the cover and pull the internal release cord to open it. Additionally, the interior aluminum supports bent slightly while trying to get the cover tightly secured, and the fasteners closest to the cab tend to loosen over time. Tightening them requires either crawling into the bed or getting creative from the outside, and it’s hard to get them as tight as I’d like. Overall, for the price and build quality, this is a good option if your main goal is protecting cargo from sun, dirt, and most rain. If security is a top priority, this probably isn’t the right cover. Despite a few frustrations, I’m still happy with the purchase and glad I went with it.

Great cover for the price point. Didn't buy it expecting it to be water proof, I own a truck. If I wanted water proof I'd buy a suv. It's great for keeping people out of the bed of my truck, it looks good and gave me the protection I want, plus saved me money for more add ons.

Good hard trifold cover for the truck. Water does leak a tiny bit but stopped when I added some extra weather strip to them. I had an issue with one of the panel after a few months of owning it. Rough Country sent me a brand new unit as a replacement. Great customer service.

Had this for almost a full year and it’s been great so far.

Cheap and flimsy. Paper thin aluminum trash. I damaged of one of the panels and tried reaching out to them to see if I could buy a replacement and can’t even get a response. I’ll be buying a replacement from a better manufacturer. I don’t recommend wasting your money with this manufacturer.
