Have owned a Rainbow vacuum for many years, I always put a capful in the water reservoir, it helps freshen the air while vacuuming.

Unfortunately it's not the same as the Rainbow scent. More foamy than air deodorizer

I ordered this thinking it would have my house smelling fresh in my rainbow. It does not smell at all. Puts off no scent. Total waste of money.

I got this as a more affordable alternative to the brand name aroma for our cleaner, and the scent is what I expected. However, in order to actually notice it, you do need the 2 cap fulls as instructions indicate, but using that much on even speed level 2 of 4 made the tank so foamy/sudsy that I basically had to stop it within 10 minutes, dump what liquid was left out and start fresh. I tried 1 cap full, and again in level 2, it began to foam up. I dropped the unit to the lowest level and it was fine but barely noticeable scent at that point. After several hours in low I was able to bump it up to the next level and it didn't foam as much so maybe that's the key, but I have yet to be able to figure out how to use 2 cap fulls in our unit.

Keeps the house fresh.

I have been using the fresh air( rainbow vacuum fragrance.) for years. This product is nothing like it. I'm hoping that it's killing the germs. But there is no smell like you get with the fresh air. I am disappointed, I should have gone with the fresh air instead of trying something cheaper.
