Nothing Ear (a) wireless ear buds with Active Noise Cancelling, Bass Enhance Algorithm and up to 42.5 hours of listening time - White

I am not an audiophile so i could not justify paying several hundred pounds for Bose or Sony buds. I had done a lot a research try to select the best 'budget' ear bud (under £100) and these little 'nothing (a)' ears buds came out on top, so i decided to take the plunge and buy them on offer for £69. Normally £89. These are fantastic ear buds, both in quality of build and sound. I use these primarily to connect via Bluetooth to my work laptop (windows 11). They sound great. Mic is also very good. Very Comfortable! i have very small ears and they stay in no problem, although i have yet to go for a run with them). ANC (Adaptive Noise Cancelling) is also very good once you put the right tips on, the app has a test to make sure you have the right tips in. The case is nice and compact and charges the buds quickly. i have read reviews of people stating that the case is hard to open... i didn't find this an issue at all. I would not hesitate to recommend these buds. 5 stars!

Decent price for excellent quality. The noise cancelling is superb and the sound is brilliant. They’re comfortable, easy to control using the buttons on the side and the battery lasts a good amount of time.

Got these as a budget replacement for my old Air Pods Pro's 3 months ago. Pros: Overall solid earbuds, certainly a solid replacement for the Air Pods. The sound quality is good close to the Air Pods if not identical (on iPhone) Decent app for them, lets you change some things like buttons, sound, etc. Good features, auto pause when taking them out, easy to use buttons just like air pods Battery life is excellent (I always use noise cancelling), USB C charging for the case. Cons: They do struggle with noise cancelling loud noises compared to Air Pods, things like lawn mower, pressure washer. This is made worse by them making weird occasional loud noise when struggling to noise cancel hurting my ears meaning its better to do loud tasks without them on. The original Air Pods Pro's could cancel out an Angle Grider to a very bearable level to where you could use them instead of hearing protection. So if you need potent noise cancelling these are not it. Small con is the case is a weird shape but still fits in pocket ok. Overall solid for normal everyday use for the price.

As a self-confessed audiophile, I buy many sets of headphones and earbuds to gain a balanced view of value for money vs quality. I still value my AirPods Max and AirPods Pro 2 as some of the best ever but I've been eyeing these up for months, mainly due to the exceptional and quirky design. When I spotted them in the Prime sale, that sealed the (£69.99) deal. They are exceptional value for money and produce a clear, crisp and punchy sound, especially for EDM and dance music and they have a very attractive design. The app is also outstanding and has a no nonsense aesthetic which really works and is very, very simple to use. Are they as good as my AirPods Pro 2?...not quite, but they are less than half the price and are actually more appealing design-wise and work seamlessly with all my home audio products, pairing instantaneously unlike some much more expensive buds. To summarise, I'm glad I resisted the temptation to buy them earlier and grabbed a bargain but I also should've bought them earlier as they are excellent!

The audio quality is excellent, the fit is excellent, battery is excellent so far and the app is great. The touch controls work great, no awkward swiping. Theyve never fallen out of my ears. The design is great. The case is excellent and charges the earphones. It feels super solid. So whats the problem? I was promised ANC of 45dB - and these DO NOT deliver. This is the reason I bought these, I could just use cheap wired headphones... Ive tried larger earbud tips (in the package) - no difference. Ive checked the fit in the app - I have a great fit apparently, and this makes no difference. I can scarcely see any difference at all when I have ANC on vs when I dont. Im also testing these on "stable" white noise - e.g. standing beside a running river - it cant handle it AT ALL (seriously), or listening to jet engine airplane noises on youtube through my laptop (noise level low or high), the ANC can barely scratch the surface and is very very weak. I almost feel like ive been missold this product, given how much of a big deal is made of the ANC capabilities - and the fact that the app tells me the headphones have a good fit. Ive attempted to put on silicone tips from other headphones from other manufacturers - but, hey presto, they dont fit the nothing ear (a) - the tips of these where the silicone tips are pulled on is oval, so needs to have a perfectly matching shape to suit. I hope the ANC can be fixed by a better algorithm in a future firmware update. Even at a relatively cheap £60 for these I feel cheated and im not pleased. I already have plenty of other wired headphones with excellent audio, I bought these for the ANC, which is rubbish.

Bought as used good. Item arrived new with no box. Fit better than Samsung galaxy buds 3,case battery charge quick.Little bit awkward to open case with one hand.On anc they last no more than 3 hours. Very happy with the sound quality and fitting. They also look better than other brands. Overall happy with the purchase.

These are really good! I brought these because I was told they are one of the best noise cancellation earbuds and they do not disappoint! I have autism which makes a lot of sounds and noises loud so a lot of things that aren’t loud for some people are very loud for me so I brought these to help with that and it works wonders. The audio is very crisp and clear, and even without fiddling with the equaliser the bass is at a very good level! They’re very lightweight and very easy to connect. They fit very comfortably in my ears and the buds are very easy to change. Overall an extremely good buy and highly recommend these to anyone, especially those who has sensitive hearing!

My apple pods broke. I just don't see point in spending a fortune. So I did some research and found these to have great reviews and reasonably priced. Gave them a shot and I'm so glad I did. The sound quality of music is astoundingly good, better than apple ones by far. The microphone again beats the apple. I'm often on hands free. Apple ones i constantly got complaints couldn't hear me speak when on phone if was near road or running water for example. Not with these, so clear no matter where you are. App is very good, many adjustments to sound, see battery levels, and can personalise what earphones taps do. The only thing that needs improvement is noise cancelling. It doesn't drown out sound as well as apple ones have to say, but it does drown out enough to make a difference. For price, saving so much compared to expensive ones I'm happy I bought these couple months ago.

Fin ljudbild, bra uppkoppling med bluetooth, bra mjukvaror för justering. Samtal tydlig och noise cancelling funkar utmärkt. Gillar designen och priset är oslagbart! Ljudet på AirPods PRO är ett snäpp bättre men priset är mer än det dubbla. Jättenöjd!

A year and a half of use later, I am coming back to leave this review. I use one earbud at a time and it can last me for a full working day without putting it back into the case. Calls seems to drain the battery faster, but you can still get a 3-4 hour total call duration on one earbud, no problem. Then, you can just swap the earbuds and keep doing that for as long as you need. 10 minutes in the case gets a decent amount of use - probably 1 hour of calls and a few hours of music. They are super light so I don't feel them at all. I sometimes even have to touch my ear to see if I still have them on if there has been no sound playing for some time. Sound quality is more than I expected. Microphone is 7/10 judging from what people report back but that is quite normal from such a device due to the location of the microphone. What earns this the fifth star is the customer support and warranty service. Quick to respond and always resolved the issues within a week - including shipping back and forth!

I consider myself pretty good when it comes to comparing audio products. I am not an audio engineer, so don’t take my opinion as gospel. I have a keen sense of finding unique products and I am a passionate audio enthusiast. That being said, if you’re looking for something similar to AirPods Pro 2 but care more about sound quality, these headphones are better sounding. I wanted to try something different and found that while the noise canceling feature is not as superior, this device makes up for it in fidelity. It’s a superior product when it comes to just listening to sound. The noise canceling is decent and works well. Along with transparency, the separate app is still, in some ways, superior. While not on the same level as the AirPods Pro 2, it does a good job. I am not disappointed and would buy this product again. If I had to describe the sound, it has way more punch, voices are clearer, it’s just less feature-rich, but with better quality sound than Apple. Along with $70 cheaper which is definitely always a plus.

Estuve buscando durante bastante tiempo unos auriculares que ofrecieran buena calidad de sonido, fueran cómodos para usar durante horas y no me costaran una fortuna. Finalmente me decidí por los Nothing Ear (a), y la experiencia ha sido excelente, incluso siendo el modelo más económico de la marca. El sonido es espectacular, diría que incluso mejor que otros auriculares más caros que uso habitualmente para trabajar, jugar o editar música. Tienen buenos graves, claridad en medios y agudos, y el aislamiento pasivo es más que decente. Se me han caído un par de veces y siguen como nuevos, sin daños ni fallos en el audio. El imán del estuche es fuerte y asegura que los auriculares se carguen correctamente cada vez que los guardas, algo que me fallaba con otros modelos donde a veces uno no cargaba bien. Una de las cosas que más me gusta es la conexión rápida y estable: se emparejan casi instantáneamente con el móvil, sin tener que estar buscando el dispositivo o esperando un minuto como me pasaba antes. Además, la conexión dual funciona muy bien, permitiendo usarlos con dos dispositivos al mismo tiempo sin interrupciones. La app oficial es sencilla, con las funciones justas para este modelo, pero cumple: puedes ver el estado de batería tanto de la carcasa como de cada auricular individualmente, ajustar el ecualizador, y activar/desactivar algunas opciones extra. La batería también me ha sorprendido: buena duración tanto en los auriculares como en el estuche. Yo los compré por unos 70 €, y ahora que están por 64 €, me parecen aún más recomendables. Y si tienes algo más de presupuesto, puede que te valga la pena mirar el modelo superior por unos 90 €. En cualquier caso, este modelo ofrece una calidad y experiencia muy por encima de lo que cabría esperar por su precio. No conocía la marca Nothing antes de esta compra, pero la verdad es que me ha sorprendido gratamente después de probar sus auriculares. Sus productos tienen muy buena pinta, y después de esta experiencia tan positiva, tengo claro que cuando necesite renovar mi móvil, consideraré seriamente uno de la misma marca.

Bonjour à tous ! Je vous fais mon retour sur les Nothing Ear (a) pour ceux qui hésitent encore. Je les utilise depuis 2 mois de façon intensive (6h par jour) entre bureau calme et atelier bruyant. ​Premièrement, la réduction de bruit intelligente est marquante. Elle offre deux modes : un mode discret pour discuter facilement et un mode que j'appelle "bulle". Ce dernier est incroyable : l'environnement disparaît totalement. En open space, même sans musique, le silence est total. ​Deuxièmement, la qualité du son est très propre. Le réglage via l'application rend l'écoute très confortable. Sur certains contenus très aigus à plein volume, il peut y avoir quelques défauts, mais c'est très rare. ​Côté autonomie, les 40h annoncées me semblent réelles. Je les utilise de 7h à 18h toute la semaine et je ne les recharge que le week-end. Je n'ai jamais été à court de batterie. ​Pour être critique, je dirais que l'ergonomie du boîtier pourrait être revue. J'ai eu du mal à m'habituer à l'ouverture les deux premières semaines. Enfin, petite suggestion pour l'équipe Nothing : on vient de me voler mes écouteurs... Ne serait-il pas possible d'intégrer une vraie géolocalisation à l'avenir ? ​En synthèse : je recommande ce produit qui est exceptionnel pour son prix ! 👍❤️
