## Description

A C-Wire Adapter is needed when installing a Honeywell Home Smart Thermostat and a common wire or C-Wire (24 volts) is not present. ​The C-Wire Adapter makes Honeywell Home smart thermostats compatible with most homes that don’t have a common wire.​ All Honeywell Home Smart Thermostats require 24 volts power (C-Wire)​. Some homes may have an unused C-wire sometimes tugged behind the wall where thermostat is installed.

Review: I got a new furnace and my old furnace was put in around 1970/75. I didn't have a C wire for my new desertcart thermostat. I purchased this and you will need access to your furnace for this to work. I connected it per the instructions which was VERY easy and boom, worked like a charm. Very easy and there is a magnetic back to the unit so it sticks inside your furnace to keep it looking clean. A must have if you have no C wire and want to upgrade your thermostat to the newest tech.

I got a new furnace and my old furnace was put in around 1970/75. I didn't have a C wire for my new Amazon thermostat. I purchased this and you will need access to your furnace for this to work. Had some hiccups along the way but it worked great for me. My first concern was that there was a c wire on my furnace that don’t lead to my thrnostat, so I had 2 common wires going into the furnace and it still worked fine. The other hiccup I had was since I used my Alexa thermostat at my old house that had a heat pump, it wasn’t working correctly. Had to factory reset it and set up the wiring on the app to match the new wiring in the thermostat. Now everything works great
