Low calories, high protein, excellent snack and filling and flavor is great
This product is excellent. All flavors are to die for taste is great dryness is not dry. No stomach upset satisfaction almost vegan content. Take it anywhere you want. I actually do one bar in the middle of my leg workouts to get my protein levels up while I take a five minute break during that five minute break the protein kicks in. I start back within the five minutes to do my second half of my leg workout and it gives me all the energy. I need to finish great product believe the price is high but worth it

Great snack, a nice departure from other protein bars
I really like these protein bars, as they are tasty without being overly sweet, and have a texture which is much more pleasing than some protein bars I have had which seem to be made with sawdust and cardboard. Really like the addition of the puff crispiness. I would say the pistachio flavor is subtle, but a nice combination with the chocolate.

Alcohol taste
Weirdly strong flavor of alcohol. Synthetic and unpleasant. Unfortunately, I was unable to eat more than one.

Incorrect macros pictured, but tasty!
Buyer beware: If the sugar content is important to you, the stock photo as it stands (showing 3g sugar and 1g added sugar for the pistachio chocolate) is INCORRECT. The 6g listed in the Amazon description IS correct - it is 6g sugar, 5g added sugar. I'm attaching a photo of the nutrition facts provided on the bar. OK, that aside: this bar is delicious. You can taste the pistachio, as well as an almond marzipan note, and the texture is a dry crispy rice. I would actually choose this as a candy bar. The 10g protein for 170 calories is not bad (oh yeah, the photo also currently incorrectly shows 160), and it is pea protein, which works well for me. I eat these in between dance classes and have no digestive issues. The inconsistent advertising of the calories and sugar is really the only issue I have with these ... kind of a big deal for a "health bar" from a consumer trust perspective, hence the three stars ... but if you're not really counting on those, they really are tasty!

slightly upgraded candy bar re: sweetness/glycemic effect
Delicious--i LOVE the pistachio flavor and the darker chocolate combined w the little crisp. I eat them more like candy. But these are still TOO GD SWEET and also TOO EXPENSIVE. Nor quite filling enough for what I need them for which is stabilizing my blood sugar and tiding me over when I have to miss meals due to chronic illness. (Yes I know that's depressing. That we're in late capitalist collapse in part due to this root of all evil app I'm supporting as I write this. But maybe this helps someone while all of society collapses?)

I love these protein bars. So much better than most.
I love these snacks. I have both flavors and often have one of each one when I need some protein. I’m not a huge chocolate lover, but for some reason, I enjoy the chocolate in these bars. It’s hard to have only one.

Does not taste like pistachio
The product is not bad but it is not worth the high price. 1) I like it is not whey protein so it doesn’t come with the weird taste, but also 10g protein per 160 calories is also not that impressive. Probably a snack rather than a protein bar 2) For the high price I can’t resonate why they used almond butter instead of pistachio butter for the pistachio flavor one, I hardly tasted any pistachio

DELICIOUS BUT TOO EXPENSIVE
I was lucky enough to chance upon these when they were 40% off. I had wanted to try them, so I got the pistachio chocolate flavour. I'm allergic to whey (dairy), wheat and soy, and these have none of those ingredients. I prefer Mezcla's use of pea protein because I find it the least gritty, and the least discernible in terms of taste. These are fantastic consistency and flavour. I suspect it's because most ingredients are organic, and because Mezcla supports The Hunger Project to end world hunger by 2030. While all that is noble, for me it translates to paying (normally) $3 for one tiny protein bar. I cannot afford that, as I eat a protein bar every day. I suspect there are others like me who are in the same boat. I don't know how long Mezcla as a company can afford to support the Hunger Project, which consumers actually pay for, while still making a profit on sales of their protein bars. For me, I will only be able to buy them on the off chance that they go on sale. :(
