For over 20 years I've used DIY capsules for a variety of uses, both for humans and pets. These XPRS capsules are by far the best ones I've used. You'd think there wouldn't be much to a capsule; it either works or it doesn't, right? Actually, not so. Some capsules are brittle and can crack. These don't. Some are misfits and aren't formed correctly. All of these I examined seem perfect. Some dissolve quickly and will dump the contents into your stomach. If that's what you want, those are fine. But if you want the capsules to make it into the intestines before dissolving, you'll want enteric capsules such as these. Some, if not most DIY capsules slide on and off with nothing but friction to hold them together. In my experience, that works fine. But for good measure, these XPRS capsules have a slight ridge on one part and a detent where the ridge fits on the other part. In other words, they snap together. I found that to be an extra level of quality I'd never seen before. Very nice! One thing to note about these capsules: they are made from animal gelatin. I'm fine with that, but you might not be. So vegetarians, be advised. Cost is the last factor. I am reviewing the 100-count bag of these capsules. At such a small quantity, they're kind of pricey, about a dime each. But they are available in much larger bags, and the per-unit price plunges if you buy them in quantities of 500 or 1,000. So be aware that if you only need small quantities, you're going to have to accept that the cost of packaging, warehousing, handling, order processing, and shipping are going to have to be recouped somehow, and that somehow is you, the buyer. There's not a lot more overhead cost to selling a bag of 1,000 than a bag of 100. The price can drop 75% or more at these larger quantities, so if you are going to use a lot, buy a larger size to dramatically decrease your per-unit cost. I make a nice oil based natural medicine which uses all oils and no powders. That means that I need a good solid capsule that won't deteriorate quickly when I prepare them ahead of time. I got these capsules for that. HOW THESE COME These come in a nice thick plastic resealable bag which keeps these protected from moisture. THICKNESS These capsules are really nice and thick. They are well sized too. CLOSURE This clicks closed nicely and keeps shut very well. OIL These capsules hold oil beautifully. I use black seed oil with some additional tweaks and I have kept them in the capsules for several weeks in storage before taking. They do not get greasy or oily over time so they keep the oil in well. DELAYED Black seed oil is pretty potent and when using these capsules, it protected my stomach and the burping was a single burp and that was it. No burning or issues. It seems to work quite well. THE BOTTOM LINE I got these specifically for oils and they work beautifully. MY RATING FIVE STARS. These are fabulous and work very well. I will continue to order them as long as I need them for using with oils and liquids that are intense and I prefer to take in capsule form.

Overpriced and too small to do what I really want to do with them I have to use three capsules to fill up one of the normal capsules was and this is a what I had to get after I said I wanted enteric capsules and they sent me vegetarian capsules that are extended release but are not acid resistant and they try to tell me that they're the same thing

It lets you feel 100 capsules at a time and works with size zero capsules. I use it to fill potassium capsules. I make my own from bulk potassium powder. These capsules work perfectly in it. Caps snap down nicely so they don't open back up. This brand has been around for a while, so I purchased from them before. I do wish that they came separated, but I realized that I can pay a little more and by separated capsules. It just takes a long time to get them all separated in order to fill them.

I got these empty capsules to use with a bulk powder supplement. They have a detent mark on each piece which keeps the two halves together better. This size is easy to swallow and these have a smooth finish. They also are labeled with an EXP. Date. So far, I am pleased with them. Thanks. XPRS Nutra Size 0 Empty Capsules: These capsules were easy to work with. They separated well, fit my size 0 capsule filling unit perfectly, and all 100 sealed on the first try. The capsules are easy to swallow. I received 109 capsules versus just 100, so that was nice. However, I cannot speak to the fact if they delay in dissolving or not. I had no stomach issues or noted problems from the other brand I use and have no way to verify these capsules dissolve in the small intestine versus the stomach. So, for me, I am not willing to pay the MUCH higher cost for these versus the current capsules I use.

These are pure gelatin (animal, not vegan) capsules. They open easily, seem fairly sturdy. Are handy if you’re using any powdered supplements that need to be whisked into liquid—I can put the powder into the capsule for easier travel. I think the price is a little nutty. Almost ten bucks for this small pouch of capsules? It’s a lot les work and probably more affordable to buy your supplements already in capsules!

These capsules are kinda pricey for the quantity. They are gelatin so vegans beware. I didn't notice any flavor or odd texture issues which is always a plus. They seem sturdy, hold together well, and are just overall something good to have on hand.
