Superman: The Complete Animated Series (Blu-ray)

Another series that could easily one day up and vanish from streaming. Especially one episode where the villain is literally gas chamber capital punishment at the end. Still don't know how that one made it onto the air even in the 90s. At $20 its a no-brainer. I actually like this better than Batman TAS and that's not taking anything away from Batman. Quality is great and audio is superior. And its not a huge box so it doesn't take up a ton of space like some shows do.

Great collection of the animated series from the 90's that would be for any Superman fan. Compliments well with the Batman animated series from the same time.

I mainly bought this because the set I had on DVD was incomplete. The image quality was good (for a 4:3 interlaced late 90's animated show), and it's a great continuation and expansion of the original Batman Animated Series. It also introduces several new characters and villains, and helps to set up the Justice League series that follows. Having it on Blu-ray instead of DVD is also nice since more episodes fit on each disc, so I don't have to swap the discs out as much when binge-watching it with my wife!

The show is great. I would give it a 5 star but the one I received had the dvds loose inside the case. Still worked and still a great show to add to the collection
