Great value for money
PROS: - Value for money - Lightweight and small - Clip for use without pockets - Wireless capability - Battery life - Hold switch - Artist / Album view or Folder view CONS: - Limited playlist ability - Delay after deactivating Hold switch - Default EQs Review: This small, lightweight MP3 player is brilliant value for money. It has good native storage space for a secondary music player or someone who doesn't have a large library, and the ability to extend up to very large amounts for those who do. The battery life seems massive, the notch hasn't even moved and I've used it for hours now. You can either place your music into the parent folder, and use the built-in artist/album view to browse your music by artist or album, or you can pre-load the device with your own custom folders and the "Folder view" will allow you to listen to just those folders. There is a playlist creation function, but it seems limited to only 3 playlists and creating them is a little tedious - you have to search through by song, meaning there's no sorting easily, and the device must start playing the song to get to the "add to playlist" option, which is a little tedious if you're listening while trying to create one. The way around this is to use the folder view as I stated, and pre-make your playlists this way, however this does mean you can't have the same song on two playlists if you do it this way. There's also an EQ, but the presets are quite hot, to my ears, boosting the low and top end a little too much for my liking, however you can create custom ones to get around this. The Hold switch is useful so you don't press buttons when it's in your pocket, but turning it off takes a second before you can press buttons again, so if you just want to adjust the volume or skip a song it's a little wait. There's also a calendar, stopwatch, and pre-selected wallpaper options, which I didn't find useful but someone else might. All-in-all, it's a great little MP3 player for those who want to go back to the days of owning your music and having it separate from your phone, and I'll be using it daily I'm sure.

Great Little MP3 Player
The Majority Go is a great little MP3 player. It is intuitive and user friendly, providing a simple interface and good compatibility. In many respects, it provides a retro reassurance of uploading MP3/4 files and wired connectivity. The offline nature of it makes it great for activities such as running and hiking, as well as being ideal for air travel. The sound quality is excellent. Functionality is straightforward forward and easy - just plug and play. It would benefit from maybe a more sophisticated menu, but for the price, it is reliable with good battery life. If you are looking for an alternative to a smart device and that reassurance of not relying on WiFi, the Majority Go fits the bill perfectly.

A Little Nostalgic Gem
Do you know what, this a fun little thing! The idea of getting this was to have it in my car with a bunch of my old CD's copied on to it and then every so often (or any journey I didn't want my phone connected) I could connect it up and blast some tunes. Let me just list a few key points about this device: * Bluetooth connection! * 5 Bar customisable equaliser, with a good selection of presets# * Long battery life, there's a good couple of days playback (if you go to sleep at some point) * Expandable memory, roughly storage for 4000 songs from the get go (depends on format and length) * Sports clip and button lock There are lots of features packed into the unit and are a testament to how far tech has come since I had an MP3 player which would have been about 3 times the size and way heavier! On that note, the size of this MP3 is my only major bad point. It is properly small, but that coupled with it being light makes it perfect for exercise and kids. With it's small size the screen can be a challenge to read however, navigation is easy and simple using the buttons below it. Functionally, you couldn't ask for much more. Playback can be done in all the normal ways, shuffle, by artist, album or you can even create your own playlists! It is quick to turn on, get setup and navigate round. It's got some power to it, not knock your socks off but the quality of playback is on point for its price. Honestly, It's a great little unit to play around with, take some music with you or just put some of your kids favorite tracks on (the ones you're fed up of hearing), pair it up with some of Majority's Bluetooth headphones and off you go.

Great for older & younger alike!
Great little Mp3 player really easy to use, small but perfectly formed. Ordered for my 72 year old dad who already has one of the same brand, but wanted another specifically for his Scifi pods. Given how easy it is to set up, use (he is NOT tech savvy being born in the 50's and never using computers) it's great for older & younger alike. I load, he uses with ease =] It's quick to set up too - Basically plug, transfer & play. Really portable; fitting easily in a pocket. I tend to listen to things on my phone, but am tempted by one of these for either my music collection or audiobooks too! Nifty little player at a very reasonable price. Ty!

Could have been brilliant...
This was, sadly, not for me. Upon arrival I gave it a thorough test drive and very quickly discovered it had a fatal flaw in the software/firmware. I loaded some tunes (all in their independent artist folders and album sub folders) onto a micro SD card and then attempted to listen to the tracks on the device. Straight away it became apparent that in "folder" view (to select and play tracks) that some songs couldn't be skipped... pressing the forward or back buttons simply restarted that same track. Pretty much a disaster for that alone but I also found that numbered tracks (say 01 -> 12) would be listed out of numerical order and would start at 04, play 05 then 06 but then play 09 then 08 then 02, 03, 07 etc. Bonkers if you're trying to listen to scripts, plays, edited audio books, voice notes or if an album has (or you want it) to be played in a specific order as intended by the artist. The other "play" mode was so clumsy that something from 1998 would have outclassed it. The only solution to solve these frustrations was to start building playlists - and I simply don't have the time and patience to faff about with hundreds of artists, thousands of albums and bajjilions of tracks. Lastly, it only showed album artwork on a few albums which means it's nowhere near as forgiving the picture file type and/or size embedded into the mp3 as would a modern phone from the last 10 years+ Other than that, it's a really handy size and weight. The buttons are easy to use and get the hang of. It sounded pretty decent through some wireless headphones. Other than that, I can't really comment for any other features as I sent it straight back as it couldn't deliver the basics for me. However, if you're not fussy about the running order of tracks or are prepared to be super patient creating custom play lists then it *might* be worth considering - but please do your own research first!

OK player, for the occasional user
OK player if you're not serious about DAPs. Good points are the Bluetooth works well, good battery life and sound quality isn't bad. It's let down by the user interface, specifically the library display.

Small but super.
The product pictures make this device look quite big, however it is very small. That being said, it's a cracking little MP3 Player from British business Majority. I already own a Majority DAB Radio and that is an excellent product, so I felt confident ordering this device. The interface is easy to use, and battery life is excellent. It has a 3.5mm jack socket should you wish to listen with wired headphones. However it is Bluetooth 5.0 enabled, so you can listen with wireless headphones. It has 16gb of internal storage, which is anywhere around 2000 to 4000 songs depending on the individual file sizes. The device supports most music file types, including MP3 and WMA. Transferring music onto the device is easy, just connect the included USB cable to your computer or laptop and copy over the files you wish to transfer. I transferred about 12.5gb of files, with took around 1 hour and 20 minutes. Overall for the price, this is a small but super device. Highly recommend. Five stars.

Great mini MP3 player
This compact device has a great many things going for it. It is incredibly easy to transfer your music and podcasts to, and organising things is straightforward. Sound quality is pretty good and battery life is perfect for a week of commuting. It lacks a little in terms of accessing your music of choice at speed but that's fine when considering the great value. The Bluetooth functionality works well and makes it ideal for those wanting a compact player with little fuss.

I bought it in December and it stopped working by June. Just wouldn’t switch on. Disappointed. Can’t figure out how to contact the seller.
