I have had and used several brands of carpet cleaners over the years, and this one is, by far, the simplest one to operate. It was a piece of cake to put together and this weekend I put it through it's paces. Let me tell you, it was a pleasure (well as much as shampooing rugs can be, lol) to use. Sadly, this was a replacement for a different brand I had purchased a few months ago which turned out disastrously. The other one not only leaked horribly and did a sub par job, but also required a degree in engineering to clean after use, and was annoyingly difficult to change out either tank. Total fail, in my book. This one, on the other hand, is amazingly simple to remove and refill or empty the tanks and clean up is a breeze. It does leak a smidge if left in one spot for a while, but that seems to be pretty typical of all of these home cleaners. Probably just moisture collecting on the bottom plus a little left in the machine while in regular use. Just be sure to run it over any resting spot before moving on. It is all plastic, so not uber sturdy, but it is pretty lightweight and it sucks up most of the water it puts down, so it doesn't take long for your carpets to dry. There are two settings. Deep clean (normal amount of water) and Quick clean (less water). The clean water tank isn't huge, but since adding more water is super easy, it's not really a problem. And the collection tank is a bit larger, so you don't have to empty it as often as you are refilling the other. And, of course, it does a great job of, you know, cleaning, which is after all its most important feature. However, for me, another critical point is whether or not it's another whole ordeal to disassemble and clean once finished. Let's face it, nobody likes to clean their carpet, and once you are done you want nothing more than to put that sucker up and move on, right? Luckily, this baby is the easiest one to clean up afterwards I've ever had. The dirty water tank has zero nooks and crannies that are impossible to reach. It's just fill and vigorously swish. That's it! The only place I noticed holding on to grunge was the around the filter gasket, and I just ran a dull edge around it under water and that took care of it. A good wipe down of the undercarriage and brush and you are free to get back to your life. It ain't fancy but it sure gets the job done in the quickest amount of time with the least amount of aggravation. Mind you, if that changes, I will update my review, but so far so good!

So far this is a great cleaner very easy to use. I use it to clean my throw rugs. It’s smaller than your typical carpet cleaner. It fits perfectly in my closet. The price was I thought pretty inexpensive. As for durability I can’t really say as I don’t use it that often.

Haven't had it a long time but it works pretty well and is very easy to use. My single indoor cat somehow got fleas and we had to do a major deep clean. Make sure you get more carpet cleaner though it only came with two really small bottles.

This is a very basic base model carpet cleaner. It is well constructed and seems to be durable. It was easy to put together and I'm happy with it's performance. It's simple to use. The only thing I don't care for is the cleaning solution is sprayed towards the back of the machine instead of the front, but it's not a huge issue. This is ideal for someone who has a few high traffic areas they need to take care of regularly. I wouldn't recommend it for a while house unless it was a small house or you had only a room or two of carpeting. It would get the job done, but the tanks are on the smaller side and would slow you down. While I am happy with it, I do want to add a caveat. I purchased it as a refurbished item (someone returned it without using it) for $80 and I would be very hard pressed to spend anything more than that. It's good quality, but very basic. If I was spending more I would expect more features and larger tanks.

I like that it came in with some Detergent to clean the carpet. And I had a great experience using it and here is why. - it’s not really heavy to use except if your rug have some sort of thickness due to it being fuzzy -very easy to assemble. -Is it worth the money or buying it ? yes -does it clean? Yes, and it depends on how dirty the spot is you might have to go multiple times. -it doesn’t suck hair like a regular vacuum, but it crumble it in a way where you can just remove it. -it’s easy to clean after use. After all, I really like it and I absolutely recommend it.

10/10 would NOT recommend. It does nothing. It has the deep clean mode but surely does not deep clean. It is in no way getting into my carpet. I had a hoover that was awesome. I switched because of the bigger tanks. Wish I hadn't. I don't know if it's the bristles or just the bad suction but this thing is awful. I can't give it 0 stars or I would

Great price and does a great job

I love this! It definitely does the job for my thick carpet. Haven’t tried the Normal setting yet which is deep cleaning but so far with the quick setting I can see the before and after difference. Good item for your buck. Highly recommend it if you’re into diy rather than hiring someone to clean your carpet!

This machine is the far but BEST. So much better than the BISSELL that the motor burns out after using it for a couple of mths to a year. I highly recommend this Dirt Devil 😈

Ok on first assembly I was skeptical because it seems.... kind of flimsy. But I was wrong. It's sturdy and light. I got it filled up with warm water and just tested it out. Lots of cleaning. Heck of a lot of deep agitation and the carpet itself was beat but the deep powerful agitation and cleaning solution was enough to draw decades of dirt out. Wow. Ok so I'm impressed. And for the price, the no frills light and powerful, low cost machine made me a believer.. The folks looking to clean carpet with powerful brushes and suction at a no frills low cost should buy this.

Have owned for 2 months and is already broken. Does not spray water and does not vacuum up the water. Only used to clean 4 rooms of the house Rip off
