Illuminator Alarm Chronograph Digital Watch

A fine watch. A nice break from my GShock. Easier to read and much lighter and smaller. I like not having to scroll through world time, 3 alarms, etc. This watch is just time, alarm, and stopwatch. As I get older I prefer fewer features to many. Screw smart watches. They become another job unto themselves with more things to keep up with and maintain. This watch also slides in and out of sleeves very well due to its low profile. I had gotten used to my GShock being kind of a pain in the ass to get out of a jacket with a cuff. You take for granted the Casio durability but it's still there along with the water resistance and ease of use. I like the color very much and the novel illumination sold me on this particular model. Nice minimalist watch for when you're not going to need GShock durability.

This is the best Casio Watch today. Not too big like a G-Shock, not too small like the classics. Readable time. Backlight improved. Light button on lower right as it should be. Easy to set time. Durable enough. Has all the features I want and no monitoring like a smart watch. Color options are a plus and not too flashy. Price is great.

A great geezer knockabout legibility tool watch. Outstanding visibility compared to the classics F-91 sized view screen as well as a terrific backlit display. Only feature I wish they had included was the year programming as it's a manual reset for yearly variation... For an economy model though the sensible band width, colour variations and modest size make this my 1st choice when I need a tough model that may face abuse in use. At a glance readability for my old eyes jumps it to the front my previous goto Casio choices.

Great watch, an f-91w on trt, big numbers, light as a feather, legendary design, legendary price, legendary battery, the cherry on top being a much much better light plus it looks great with any outfit …GREAT WATCH!

This is a great watch. Classic Casio design, and when you use the illumination button, the digits light up, rather than the background. This is what sold me on this watch. Some Casio watches have watch bands that are quite short, requiring the average man to use the last couple of holes. This watch goes the other way, with a band that is pretty much too long unless you have gorilla wrists. The keeper generally handles the excess, so it’s not a deal breaker. The face is just right and very readable in any light. With three buttons, it’s super easy to use and change the time or use any features. The case is rugged and I never worried about it on a recent trip. It never loses a second from what I’ve seen. I mean, it’s a modern quartz movement! Great and rugged manly design. Overall, great watch. Recommended!

Simple, tough and oddly elegant in design given its humility. Water resistant and the screen takes a beating on a daily as I am constantly bumping in to things I haven’t had too deep of a scratch yet. Love Casio and their quality products.

I bought a Casio F-91W, arguably the brand’s most popular digital watch, and love it! It is basic and useful as a simple time piece. However, my 2 gripes with it are its size - it’s a bit too small for my large wrist - and it’s notoriously sub-par backlight. This watch addresses both of those concerns with a better backlight, larger face, and the same quality I have come to expect from my F-91W. I love both, but I certainly wear this one more.

Pure boring functionality. Pros: Light weight. Easy to use. Inexpensive, but high use value. Looks so generic nobody will ever try to rob you for it. Comfortable. Fits my large wrist. Won't fail in wet conditions. And if damaged in everyday use I will not get upset, because it cost so little. About as tough as you can get for $20. Cons: Kinda Plain Jane ugly, not for formal occasions.

For not much more (or even less if you pick it up on sale), this watch outperforms the F-91W in every way. More stylish, easier to read, actually-usable backlight. This is my digital everyday watch. Analog everyday watch is a Timex Weekender, both solid beater watches with a fairly low profile and dirt cheap. No complaints!
