I had purchased two hardy second-hand lamps. However, the switches needed to be very delicately placed to the on position. I installed these kits and they work wonderful. The directions were very basic, and as a first time installer it required finding a YouTube video. I had already removed the cords from the old fixture. My issue was knowing which wire was ground and which wire was positive. I realized one channel of the cord has printing on it. I went to the second lamp to determine which pole the printed channel was attached to. I then proceeded to do final hook up. The lamp worked as expected.

I used these to do a complete replacement of the socket and harp on an old lamp. This set was an exact match and was really easy to swap out the old with the new. The color was a bonus because it gave the old lamp even more of an antique look. It came with extra parts but that's a good thing. Just stash away just incase you need it for another day.

I needed to rewire some old marble lamps and these worked well. Very good quality and the antique brass went well with the old brass pieces. Cords are really long sure to reach any plug no matter where I put the lamps
