He had escaped every barrier one way or another. One could say just shut him in a bedroom but he's a big cat and needs more space than that while I am gone 11 hours at work. This gate fit perfectly, was fairly simple to install, requiring only a phillips screwdriver. My boy tried to get past it several times and it has stopped him. Just be sure to set your bottom lock about midway so your fur baby can't push hard enough to wedge through. One thing that I would say is it wouldn't hold up to a large dog with the plastic locks even though it is predominantly metal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for separating cats *by A***Y on July 5, 2025* Our cats kept clawing at the doors.
