However, unfortunately I have had to update my review because Altruist have changed the design of their bottles. The nozzle blocks within the first 5 seconds of use and the spray doesn’t come out. I found this out on a beach in Dubai in over 30 degree heat with a 6 and and 8 year old. You have to get a wet cloth of really rub at the nozzle for any of it to come out and when it does it is intermittently. The product development team should all be sacked for this. Did nobody think of even trying this out before you opted for these cheaper ones? It wasn’t just the one, we had 6 and all of them were the same. My sister has the same problem with hers. Here is my review from a couple of years ago… such a shame as this was the best sun protection spray I had found that didn’t contain any nasty chemicals. I've been spraying the SPF 50 mist on my two toddlers over the past few weeks and as long as you reapply it every couple of hours it works perfectly and they haven't burned at all in this recent hot spell. A few of us went to a cricket match at Old Trafford on Sunday and we were all day in the blazing sun without any shade. I applied the mist spray 3 times from 11am - 7pm as you could really feel the sun's heat on us (it was 30 degrees) and we all turned a nice Brown colour without any burning. My friend had skin cancer and has to be very careful. When she saw the spray the other day she said her dermatologist had highly recommended it to her. Plus it has no nasties like parabens and SLSs which is important to me as I don't use any chemicals at all in our home and all toiletries are natural. I found it really difficult to get natural sun protection but this brand is great. The mist is perfect for children and adults as you don't need to rub it in. Just be careful if there is any wind as it'll blow away in it and spray outside as with all mists as it can make wooden or marble floors slippery if you do it indoors. You don't really have to rub it in, just wait a few seconds and it disappears into your skin without being greasy. Constantly blocks and product drips out - always shake it but still the same! Anyone else?** A: Yes!! New shape aerosol bottle stopped working after very little use. Spray not sufficient either intermittently working and I burnt!!! Complained to Amazon and the two pack was replaced quickly. However these are exactly the same - useless spray. Had the original shape SP50 spray and never had a problem. **Q: What is the UVA star rating on this product please? I just purchased two bottles but its doesnt have any stars on the back?** A: We have done all the EU regulatory tests and it exceeds them; that is why it has the UVA symbol. We don’t have the star rating yet, but expect it to be between 3 and 4. It’s much harder to get a 5 star spray and the cost was going to be prohibitive. **Q: In the advertising information it states that Altruist is hypoallergenic, but on the spray bottle it only says Dermatologist. Is it hypoallergenic?** A: It is. All Altruist products have been designed to have the lowest risk of allergy. I go boat fishing at sea, a total guarantee to cause burning especially on even a slightly sunny day. I spray once before I go and NEVER have to apply a second coat. Many other sunscreens will sting or burn your eyes when you start to sweat. This never happens with this product. 100% effective.
