We gate check it. **Q: Would it work for a carry-on?** A: No its to bulky. **Q: Will the car seat base fit in bag as well? I am checking the stroller and need the base for traveling as well.** A: I don't believe the base would fit in the bag, but you do not need the base to travel with the doona. I recommend leaving it at home. That's the beauty of the doona.
