Better than expected initially but ultimately a waste of money
Doesn’t take up much countertop. Very easy to use. Put some beans in the hopper (200g fits nicely). Set fineness and how long you want to grind for. The last grind time you used will be the one shown when you switch it back on. I did a test straight away and the grind was a bit coarser than expected. On the very finest setting it is “just about” espresso. There are other much more expensive grinders that do all sorts of things but I’m happy with this purchase. The main reason for happiness is that I’ve been getting the shop to grind my beans and that is great at first but they go off no matter how well you seal the coffee container. So I’m OK with what this grinder produced. The main thing is it tastes better than stale coffee. That doesn’t sound like a glowing review but price was great, quality seems decent, and it works well. Long-term there are two areas that could cause issue: - the coffee grinds receptacle is made of flimsy plastic. It works OK but I don’t think the plastic choice was the best. - quality of the grinding discs. After a few days (1 bag of coffee) it is clear that there has been some wear. Neither of these issues is of immediate concern.

Great for learning how to make fresh coffee
This is a great entry level grinder – it's a machine to learn with or simply make the occasional brew. I use the grinds in a French press and moka pot (eg Bialetti). The grind setting dial actually does change the size of the grind. By default the machine is set to a 40 second grind timer, which is a decent speed, but this can be easily adjusted to a different time. Often, a few extra seconds regrinding is required to capture the last coffee bean popcorning about. It is relatively easy to clean, which is good because you will be cleaning this thing A LOT. This grinder is awful for coffee grind retention and negative static charging, meaning coffee grinds get stuck inside the machine, and around the container. I've found whole coffee beans stuck around the burrs inside. You will make a mess using and when cleaning this thing. The machine always finds more grinds to cough out. I have learnt misting the beans a little bit with water before grinding them helps with the static charging and prevents a mess. You will also find the grinds form clumps in the container. I use an espresso needle to break them up and get an even grind consistency. This greatly improves the flavour of the coffee and prevents uneven extraction. The machine looks decent and does not look out of place next to other countertop appliances. It's not too loud – at least my cats don't think so. If anything, this machine has allowed me to learn what to look for in a good grinder, before upgrading to something beefier and not as messy.

Worth it
Very good item! Compact, has a choice of fineness, looks decent. However, you won't be able to remove the container with wet hands, this could be a mistake by the designers of this item, but it doesn't bother me much. I recommend it!

Well worth the money. Versatile and sturdy.
I have been using this coffee grinder for a few months now. I love it because it works really well and is small enough to sit on my counter top next to my coffee maker. I use it every day. You can adjust the grind time, which gives the amount you want and you can also adjust the size of the grind for different types of coffee makers. For such a compact and reasonably priced machine it really is good.

It works well so far
I have seen comments about this grinder being very noisy. It is certainly a lot less noisy than the blade machine it is replacing and runs for a fraction of the time so from my point of view the machine is relatively not over noisy, the bonus is I do not have to keep my hand on the power switch. It seems to work very well and dissembles easily for cleaning. The hopper feeds the beans in efficiently and the grind size varies with adjustment well. I am still trying to work out the timing and grind size that works for me but I am getting close, at least for two mugs of coffee with milk. Longevity is now the the real test. I am certainly happy with purchase at this time with looks and performance at this price level appreciated.

Good, but very messy
I have been using this grinder for a time now, and on the whole this grinder is good. What really lets it down is two things 1) It is very messy. When the ground coffee container is removed, coffee dust cover around the machine. 2) And most annoyingly, the ground coffee container generates static. This means that when you are spooning out the grounds, some jump all over the place due to the static.
