This chainsaw sharpener is an essential tool for maintaining the efficiency and longevity of your chainsaw. I did restores my dull blades,after hitting a rock 🤦🏾‍♂️. Little bit hard at the beginning to setup but after that all good. Regular sharpening reduces strain on the chainsaw motor and helps prevent accidents. Overall, it's a practical investment for anyone using a chainsaw.

Kit was initially good, it was easy to set up and seemed to work ok, although adjusting the pressure so that the sharpening spinal contacted the blade correctly was difficult. After about 10 uses the adjustment screw stopped being long enough to allow sufficient pressure for the kit to work and the pressure plate developed a dent in it and is very soft metal. I contacted Amazon to return this or give me a contact for the manufacturer, but they were unhelpful. I would advise against this product if you want something that works well and for more money Han a few uses.

I ordered this for my father who unfortunately found it really fiddly and awkward to use and when he eventually got it to work, it didn't really sharpen the saw blades very well. It's not something we could recommend sadly.

Great jig for attaching to chainsaw and although file tool worked they were a bit fiddly - purchased hand files to use in conjunction with jig (which ensures correct angle on chainsaw).

I was sceptical when I bought this, but have been very pleased with it. You need to stop and think when working out how to use it, but once you have it in place correctly it does a very good job of chain sharpening, which is brilliant for an item that costs less than a new chain.

I purchased this chainsaw sharpener, and it does exactly what it’s meant to do. Excellent quality and very effective. I would definitely recommend it.
