FYI: the base (where the stand sits on your desk) is 20 x 20 cm. This thing is built like a tank, and easily over a kilo in weight. The fit and finish is excellent, and there’s enough adjustability to get the angle right on most desk set ups. For whatever reason they don’t list the dimensions of the base; which is a lot smaller than the top where your laptop sits. This was pretty essential for me to judge whether I can fit it in my desk. It’s 20 cm x 20 cm. It’s very hard to adjust, requiring a lot of force. This means you have to take your laptop off to adjust it, which isn’t ideal, but it does provide a very strong platform. People that have accessibility issues might struggle to adjust this comfortably. There’s a rubberised lip on the bottom edge of the laptop tray that keeps your laptop in place. This does make closing the screen an issue on my MacBooks, so you’ll need to move it up slightly as you do so. It’s on the pricier side, but it’s definitely a big step up in quality and stability; I’m confident I could knock something into this on my desk and it wouldn’t budge. I got the sandstone colour which is nice and inoffensive, but wish they offered an aluminium finish to fit in with my set up a bit better.

I bought this stand after looking at other options and although it was really expensive for what it is, the price does show in its quality. The stand is built like a stand, and does not budge at all while using it. It requires a lot of force to adjust and this would limit its use for some people. Once setup in my desired position, I could probably rest my arms on the laptop and it wouldn't move. This meant it gave me quite a few options to a work in a smaller space where I can't afford the space for a more permanent setup. I could lift the screen up to my eye height and work with an external monitor, or I could place my laptop on a kitchen island and work as if I were using a standing desk. I've used this with both a 14" and a 16" MacBook Pro. At its maximum height and tilt, the 16" would definitely tip over the moment you put it on. The stand allows full movement at whatever angle and height you desire, but you would have to watch out in that it could tip over depending on the device you place on it. At lesser extreme tilts/heights, this is never an issue. I've also used this with an iPad while cooking and it was great, it's easier to clean a metal base than an iPad case. The metal base is heavy and has an indentation that could fit an iPhone 16 Pro Max (and a bit more). You could also technically place weights on it to counter the tipping I mentioned above. If you need a stand to lift your screen up and hold your laptop in its place, this is the one to get.

Very high quality laptop stand. I am using it to use my laptop as my second monitor. It’s a little bit stiff to adjust so it could be difficult for those with mobility or strength limitations. This does however make the stand very sturdy! It’s not very portable for working remotely. Mine lives on my desk which suits its is case well.

This laptop stand is well-made and does a great job of elevating my laptop to a more ergonomic position. I love the sturdy build, non-slip base, and the way it creates space on my desk. The height and angle are easily adjustable with the hinges (which are a bit stiff but something I actually prefer) so I can always find the perfect position. However, while I appreciate the minimalist design and premium feel I do wish the stand would swivel around and it doesn't. For the price (which I do feel is a little high) I'd hope for a bit of rotation. Some more ventilation would also be nice. Overall though I do like it. It's a good stand to consider if you're on the lookout for something simple and effective.

This adds a flair architectural interest to my work space. The sage colour and sturdy design are modern but work well in our country cottage. My laptop sits nicely on top and the base is solid which prevents tipping over. I already feel better with my hunching posture and squinting reduced with the use of this stand. Best part, this doesn’t take up much space. And when my laptop is not on top of it, I use it as an easel to hold photos or a small painting so it fits with my decor. Love love love. It took me a while to commit to purchasing this as it’s pricey but glad I finally committed. One of my better purchases on Amazon.

A firm laptop stand, very stiff to adjust, but stays in place once done. A good solid piece of kit, with a nice. simple design.

Clearly high quality materials/finishes, everything I wanted. But be warned...when they say strong joints...they really are ..I struggle.to move.the arm it's so tough

Super Laptop Ständer in ausgezeichneter Qualität. Ich hatte vorher ein Plastikteil! Dieser Ständer ist eine ganz andere Welt. Die Stabilität und die verschiedenen ergonomischen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten sind herausragend. Ich habe ein 16 Zoll Notebook auf dem Ständer, d. h., das Notebook ragt über den Ständer rechts und links hinaus und das ist auch gut so. 1. benötigt der Ständer auf dem Schreibtisch weniger Grundfläche und 2. es sieht gut aus, da der Ständer kaum sichtbar ist. Klar! Der Ständer ist nicht billig, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Ich bereue diese Investition nicht! Trotzdem hat er einen kleinen Nachteil! Wenn der Ständer sehr hoch eingestellt wird, braucht es natürlich entsprechend lange HDMI und USB Kabel. Bei einem kurzen USB-HUB, den man u. a. auch für Reisen benutzt, kann das durchaus zum Problem werden, der hängt dann nämlich in der Luft. Das muss man halt wissen. Trotzdem bekommt der Ständer von mir 5 Sterne, da er sehr stabil und von hoher Qualität ist.

I love this thing so much that I bought one for work and home. The metal is extremely sturdy and very classy/understated. The paint has been very durable and I rally like the fabric that is used to protect the laptop. The hinges take a good amount of force to move, but to me it is a good thing as it is a set and forget type situation. In the few times I have adjusted it, I found there is enough range of motion for good height adjustment. I used this with my personal MacBook Pro and MacBook Air that was issued by my work. It weighs enough that it does not move easily, which just gives a good feel of quality. I have also used this for my iPad and it has a nice pencil holder bump built in as well.

Es un muy buen stand. He comprado dos, para sustituir a dos stands Twelve South Curve Flex. Los stands de Native Union tienen una construccion sólida, aguantan bien Macbook Pros de 16" sin flexar lo más mínimo, el aspecto es muy limpio ya que sólo se ve la base y una pata levantarse de la mesa (a diferencia de los Twelve South, en los que se veían dos patas y la barra metálica posterior, mucho ruido visual). Se pueden levantar a una altura bastante buena, yo ahora tengo la parte superior de las pantallas de los portátiles a 56 cm por encima de la mesa, y aún se podrían levantar más si quisiera. Hay que tener en cuenta que es un stand para tener "fijo" la mayor parte del tiempo, ya que es algo pesado y las bisagras van duras. Está pensado para dejarlo en una mesa fijo. Si buscas algo para estar moviendo todo el tiempo de un lugar a otro, entonces buscaría otras opciones como el propio Twelve South.
