I really like that the backpack is lightweight and has wide breathable straps. The strap clip came in handy because it secured the pack to my body and helped to distribute the weight more evenly. It’s also roomy enough, so I was able to carry all of the essentials (e.g., water bottle, tripod, phone, power pack, cords, wallet, toiletries, etc.). The smaller pockets allowed me me to secure and organize my things during my day excursions. When the weather changed I was able to fit my windbreaker in it too. The one thing I didn’t like is the top front pocket was difficult to zip/unzip because of the over hand fabric that kips the zipper hidden. Lastly, it held up to light rain/drizzle. Kept all of my things dry, which I am thankful for. It folds up nicely to store away. I am not able to comment on its longevity, but it got me through a four day trip. I cannot wait to use this for during my next solo trip. I hope it holds up for a long time.

This backpack was perfect for my trip. Lots of room, several pockets for organized storage. It was very lightweight which was great for hiking. It was comfortable to wear because the wide straps distributed the weight of my gear and didn't cut into my shoulders. The front clasp meant the straps didn't slip off my shoulders. When you're done you can fold it up into the front pocket for easy storage until the next trip. Very much worth the money. Can't beat the great colors, either!

I purchase this pack for a trip I'm taking where I will be biking everywhere and will need to carry shoes, towel, clothes, etc. during the day. Once I return from the trip I will do an update, but I wanted to point out a couple of things right away. First and most important to me, this bag has great capacity without being large and bulky. I am 5'0" tall and weigh just over 100 pounds, so backpacks can easily be too big for me. I was concerned that this would be the case with this one since it is 35 L, but this is not the case at all. It fits well and seems to be pretty comfortable considering it's a packable and has virtually no padding. If packed completely full, I find it's a little too big for ideal comfort, but any 35 L pack without a suspension system is going to be that way. I test packed and can easily fit 5 days worth of clothes in this pack, so I know I will have no trouble with a beach towel, extra shoes, and clean clothes.I also like the number of pockets in the pack. There is a large slip pocket and a zippered pocked in the main compartment along with the top zippered pocket on the outside and the pocket it packs into on the front which contains another zippered mesh pocket. The mesh pockets on the sides are really big and fit a 1 L water bottle with room to spare.One thing to note is that mine did not come with instructions on how to repack it, so pay attention when you unfold it the first time. It's pretty easy to figure out, but something some might not be happy about.Note: The size comparison pictures are the most true to color. It is more true purple than the product photo suggests.

Bought this bag for work as a tour guide, and have been quite pleased with it. The waterproofing works well, and it has more space than you would expect. Straps are also pretty sturdy. The only thing that would make it better is if the material itself was a little thicker. But honestly for the money spent it's definitely worth it. I also like that you can calapse it down into an easy way to pack it in larger luggage.

Just went on a 7 day trip to the Channel Islands and this was my daypack. I nearly filled this bag up every time we hiked and I never had a problem with it . Many compartments, easy to put away and super cute . The bag is in still great conditions !

We bought this backpack for day trips for our family of three and it's been great. I really like how easy it folds up into the front pocket when not in use to save space. I've been able to pack it in our suitcase for vacations. without it taking up a bunch of room. It holds a ton of stuff too. We even used it in a pouring rainstorm with success. While it isn't waterproof, it is water resistant enough that our items inside the backpack were protected.

Such a great product for the price! Despite being extremely light, it looks very sturdy and it has a lot of storage and separate pockets. The straps feel comfortable and I love the color. Also I love the little "extra" touch of safety with the whistle!

It worked for what i needed and folded up small.. as a smaller women it was a little big for me but worked well.
