The set cost abt $80 and include a hard sided storage case. These are true jacks with a rubber base so as not to damage floors and are rated to 400lbs. They lifted my furniture easily for cleaning, installing area rugs etc. They do not move furniture, however with 2 sets (4) jacks, you could put 2 jacks on each side of your item and raise a piece of furniture or household appliance high enough to get a dolly underneath it and move your item that way. Another important feature is the release. These jacks have a ratcheted release, which is way safer, so you can "walk" the height down incrementally, rather than a quick release that would result in an instant crash to the floor. I found these jacks to be stable and sturdy, but certainly common sense rules of safety apply when using them.
