We rarely write reviews this detailed, but the Anker SOLIX C800 Plus Portable Power Station absolutely deserves it. After using it for camping, a weekend RV trip, and even a brief power outage at home, we can confidently say this is one of the best portable power stations on the market. Power & Performance (1200W / 1600W Peak): This unit delivers serious power. It handled our portable fridge, LED lights, phone chargers, and even a small coffee maker without breaking a sweat. The 1600W peak gives you real confidence when running devices that temporarily draw extra wattage. No flickers, no drops — just stable, reliable power. Battery Capacity (768Wh LiFePO4): The LiFePO4 battery is a huge selling point. Not only is it safer and more durable than standard lithium batteries, but the capacity is perfect for multi-day trips. We used it continuously over two nights while camping, and it still had juice to spare. The long cycle life also means this investment is built to last for years. Built-In Camping Lights: A surprisingly useful feature! The lights are bright, energy-efficient, and perfectly positioned. Whether you’re setting up camp after dark or just need ambient lighting around the tent or RV, the built-in illumination eliminates the need for extra lanterns. Outdoor Convenience: Between the compact design, sturdy handle, and quiet operation, it’s clear Anker engineered this for real-world use. It fits easily in the trunk, doesn’t add a lot of weight, and runs almost silently — a huge plus when you’re outdoors and want peace and quiet. Solar Compatibility: We opted for the solar panel setup, and it was a game changer. The recharge speed was surprisingly fast for a unit this size. Even on a partly cloudy day, it steadily gained power. Being able to recharge anywhere without relying on an outlet completely transforms long camping trips. Reliability for Emergencies: During a recent power outage at home, this unit powered essential devices (Wi-Fi, lights, phones, and a fan) without issue. Knowing we have a dependable backup source gives tremendous peace of mind. Build Quality & Safety: Like all Anker products, it feels premium and solid. The LiFePO4 chemistry adds another layer of safety, and the screen gives clear, accurate readings for input/output and remaining runtime.

This SOLIX C800 is a welcomed addition to Anker’s distinguished line of products in this category. The box is heavy (dense), but manageable for an adult or larger child. The number of connectivity options this particular SOLIX box comes with is compelling and diverse. The ability to plug this into a solar panel (sold separately) or other solar system is a key feature that makes this SOLIX product stand out - although this functionality appears to be more and more common. This product comes with the cables to do so. The portable battery bank market seems to move fast and things are “dated” rapidly. Nonetheless, this 1200W box holds its own in the line up. The app integration is well done and it is nice to be able to manage the box from the app, although that is entirely optional and by no means a necessary feature for this box to perform. The visualizations indicating the power remaining and other statuses are easy to understand and simple. The usability of this box is overall very good and the handles are well placed for portability. Perhaps the most innovative feature of this box is the lid. It opens up and contains handheld flashlights that can be attached via a magnet to a telescoping pole. This is perhaps useful outdoors, but is very useful indoors to fill a dark space. The display (or the app) smartly displays the remaining time at current power draws to the user. Make note, you will hear this box as it runs on intense tasks (ie: powering a coffee maker in the kitchen as opposed to charging your cell phone). This is a great box at a great price. As long as one doesn’t expect this to power their house or something, it is respectable for short term power outages or mobile applications (overlanding etc.) without breaking the bank. I own multiple Anker SOLIX products. This is probably my favorite.

Perfect for camping, ran my 600w coffee maker every morning for 4 mornings without charge, also used to air up my air mattress, and used the lights to light up campsite, nice bright and dimmable lights. Bought without solar panel, but would recommend buying the one with solar panel! Cheaper in the long run. Works great for home power outages. If you have a cpap machine for example, you can plug it in the power station and plug the power station into outlet, if the power cuts off then the power station kicks on immediately to keep cpap running or whatever you have plugged into it. Very little to no noise, very portable! Charges pretty fast, especially if you tune on fast charge within the app! I have no doubt this will last a long time for my needs.

Recently went fishing with my family Took this unit with me and all of our electronics were kept topped off! I love the portability and the unit is extremely reliable. I highly recommend it. So much so, that I picked up a second unit. Great job Anker!

After viewing the c800 on YouTube I immediately ordered it. It is way better in person, lol. The c800 includes a telescoping pole to attach two hand help flashlights included with the solar generator. The two flashlights charge inside the top portion of the generator. The flashlights have 3 modes and have a dimming control by pressing and holding down on the power button. Very cool feature. The c800 generator also includes a forward facing strip light with 3 modes and an SOS feature. Solid build, good size, works great. Highly recommend.

So far a great product. Bought for power outages along with the C1000 Plus and C2000 Plus. All of them work as advertised. Silent when using and very quick recharging from house outlet.

I have been fortunate I have not had to rely on this portable generator. However, the battery does hold a good charge. It recommends to charge every 3mths however, after 3mths of sitting it was still holding a full charge. I like how it has an extender so you can use the light as a lamp and has the extra flashlights . It is solid and comes with car port charger and a wall charger which is great if you use this for on the road. If we lose temporary power, I'm sure this will be a great backup source to plug in items we need and to charge our phones, etc.

Another solid solar generator from Anker. As a solar generator it has good plug in options, and the WiFi connection works flawlessly to keep informed on its status. The lamps are an added bonus that makes this a must have for camping!

Works flawlessly. Has already come in hand during two power outages. Powers our devices, fridge, sump pump, tv and router. Very handy. Holds charge for months between outages. Used for camping aswell.

Great item for so many reasons. Perfect for when there is no power and I need to keep my fish tank going. Excellent to charge phones, laptops etc.
