Perfect fit! Quality was great. The hardest part was just removing the old units. The complete kit should prevent future leaks and extend the life span of our water heater. The water heat works much better and for the price I could not ask for more! Absolutely great value. May cost a small amount now but will save in the long run!

I bought these to replace a couple of elements that got burned up in a friend's mobile home...they shut off the water, but left the heater on. Sad day! But these elements put us right back on track. About 10 minutes to install and we had hot water within 30 minutes. These do come with gaskets - all you'll need us a wrench to remove & replace the elements and a screwdriver to connect the wiring (power shut off of course) A great price on a pair of elements that put us back into normal operation. Two thumbs up 👍

We live in Belize and had a hot water pipe leak - and didn't think to shut off our 4-month-old American Water Heater Company model E62-30L-045DVx 100 water heater - D'OH! We realized our grave error the next day, when we had no hot water. We're on an island, and no hardware stores carry the replacement part. I ordered this pair, hoping and praying that they would fit, then I waited 4 weeks for our freight-forwarder to send them down. You will need a 1.5" socket wrench to remove the old heating elements and install these - but the process was very simple: unplug the unit, drain the water, and socket-wrench-out the old one(s). We were sure the top one was toast, but we pulled both since the replacement parts weren't overly expensive and we figured they might both be damaged - my photos are of OLD ones, which are very clearly scorched! Gloriously, we had blazing-hot water once again after about an hour! Installation was a breeze and the parts were cost-effective. We're going to order another set to keep on-hand (or maybe extort our neighbors when theirs inevitably go out, hahaha!).
