I’ve tried quite a few indigestion and heartburn remedies over the years, and Gaviscon Double Action is one of the few that consistently works well for me. The relief is usually very quick, especially after heavy meals, spicy food, coffee, or late-night eating when acid reflux tends to flare up. What makes these different from standard antacids is the “double action” approach. They not only help neutralise stomach acid but also create a protective barrier to stop acid travelling back up the throat, which is what causes that horrible burning reflux feeling. (Gaviscon) The mint flavour is surprisingly pleasant for a medicinal tablet and much easier to take than some chalky alternatives. They’re chewable and convenient to keep in a bag, car, or bedside drawer for quick use when symptoms suddenly appear. Things I personally liked: * Works fairly quickly after taking * Helpful for both indigestion and acid reflux * Mint taste is decent and not overpowering * Portable and convenient compared to liquids * Useful after large meals or late-night snacks I’ve also found these particularly useful before sleeping if reflux starts acting up at night. The relief tends to last longer than basic antacid tablets I’ve used previously. Gaviscon states the formula can last up to twice as long as standard antacids. (Amazon) A couple of small things to mention: * The tablets are a bit chalky when chewed, though that’s fairly normal for this type of product. * If symptoms are frequent or severe, it’s obviously important to look into the root cause rather than relying only on tablets. These really help my gastritis and acid reflux symptoms. They taste better than the liquid to me. I would just say the texture is slightly odd once you bite them, they can get stuck to and inbetween your teeth.

These came quickly and with no issues. I will probably need to order more soon, as I am getting a lot of heartburn lately. I have had these before, and they work really well for my indigestion; they don't take long to work.

Does what it says and good value for money. Soothing, good taste and adhesive.

Effective, but becoming very expensive when you work out the cost of each tablet!

Excellent indigestion treatment

These are the best for my heartburn. They work quickly and effectively. If it’s really bad I’ll take two. They taste ok too. I’ve tried many other brand but I always come back to Gaviscon. Crunch & go! I also got a good deal on Amazon and a swift delivery too.

I have heartburn issues so these tablets are great. I would use these if you have short term issues or one off instances. If you have more regular issues or throughout the day then I would recommend to use Nexium for 24 hour relief. If worse then see your doctor.
