This is honestly one of the best shampoos I’ve ever used! From the first wash, I could tell a difference in how my hair felt. It leaves my hair incredibly soft, smooth, and manageable without feeling weighed down. My hair looks healthier and has a beautiful shine after using it. I began using this product last year. I've been through 2 bottles of both the shampoo and conditioner. Upon receiving my third bottle of each, the pump on the conditioner bottle didn't open. I began a return and sent them back. The new bottles arrived, but this time the shampoo bottle pump won't open. It's not worth the hassle of sending it back- I'll just have to pour the new bottle into the old bottle that has a working pump. Frustrated that this happened twice in a row.

4 stars because the product uses dimethicone for slip and that builds up on the hair after several uses. I can’t seem to find a product that actually moisturizes and does not include dimethicone or some kind of oil. Dimethicone is a cheap ingredient and it actually blocks moisturizer, so I don’t get it other than it’s cheap for the manufacturer. I’ve used this for about 5 washes and the build up is already there, but I kept it because it cleans my hair well and it does moisturizes better than 4 other products for curly hair I’ve tried so far. I also love the smell and the fact it doesn’t have lots of other junk in it and the quantity of product was worth the price. I really really wish they would take the dimethicone out and use something, like a slippery elm or other plant based non-oily slip ingredient. I’m unsure if I will purchase it again, but I’ll probably keep it around since every product that works without the junk gets reformulated or discontinued at some point and this does work with some clarifying in between a few washes. It’s not the best trying to detangle, even with the dimethicone in it, but way better than many other curly hair products I’ve tried. The Pantene 0 sulfate moisturizer shampoo and sleek conditioner works way better than this, but a girl can’t rely on just one product these days, they use junk and dimethicone too. They also are reformulating their 0 sulfate moisturizer shampoo and that makes their sleek conditioner not work as well. Anyway, my hair is 3B, frizzy and dry. If you’re in my position, start here. It works better than many others and they are easy to get in Walmart and target too. Been in the shelves for years and the formula has stayed the same.

The first time they sent me the wrong formula. I ordered the gentle daily shampoo and SOS conditioner and recieved the length check shampoo and conditioner instead. The length check shampoo and conditioner I did not like. The smell was great but I found the conditioner to be pretty runny and did not do much for my hair at all. I have naturally curly hair and need a good moisturizing conditioner. Once I recieved the correct Shampoo and conditioner I was very pleased. The gentle daily shampoo is great but the SOS conditioner is even better! It’s very thick and creamy. It leaves my hair smelling great for days and my curls very soft and shiny. I highly recommend the gentle daily shampoo with the SOS conditioner. That is a winning combination. The smell is so soft, warm and pretty. If you are like me and like amber based fragrances you will love this.

This left my hair really dry. The product is a scam. They say they put in a lot of healthy ingredients, they quite literally only put a single drop of these “healthy” ingredients. I don’t recomend.
