Need it set up right out of the box
I purchased the Taylor 214ce Plus last year from Guitar Center. After struggling with it for 8 months I contacted Taylor. The problem was poor setup. I took it to an authorized service depot to have a master Luther perform a proper set up. He adjusted the trust rod and shave the saddle. The guitar plays much better now.I would think a quality guitar manufacturer such as Taylor, which shipped their guitars with a better set up. I understand there is a median set up for your various players and that's subject to change, depending on what the player wants. Put the guitar should be delivered and sold with a set up that actually works. I love this Taylor guitar. The sound is great and I'm happy with it. I just feel that out of the box. It should have a good set up.
