Great Tasting Espresso Fast!
My older De'Longhi Espresso Bar Pump machine decided its time on my countertop had ended, so I upgraded to the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus machine. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. So far, this is where the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus has stood out above other machines: Simple Interface: The De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus has a simple, user-friendly interface with easy-to-use controls, making it a great machine for both beginner and experienced espresso drinkers. The many buttons and easy-to-turn dials are well-placed and responsive, allowing for precise customization of one and two shots of espresso. Design: The silver metal brushed stainless steel finish gives the machine a sleek and modern look that complements my other countertop appliances. Its small and compact size makes it perfect for having its own space on the countertop without sacrificing other appliances. Maintenance: Cleaning and maintenance of the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus has been easy compared to the prior machine. The steam wand automatically purges after each use, and the removable drip tray and water tank make it easy to keep the machine clean and well-maintained. It is also top-shelf dishwasher safe. Heating Times: With its innovative heating system, the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus reaches the perfect brewing temperature in just 3 seconds every time, allowing me to enjoy my favorite espresso drinks without the wait! Consistency: One of the best points of the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus is its ability to consistently deliver high-quality espresso with every cup. The heating and temperature function of this machine ensures the perfect temp and flavor, while the automatic steam wand creates a velvety micro-foam for perfect lattes and cappuccinos every time. I am a big fan of consistency and that is something I know I will get with every cup of espresso from the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus. I highly recommend the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus machine to anyone who is looking for great-tasting espresso fast!

A Great Intermediate Espresso Machine!
Making great espresso drinks is definitely a journey with a learning curve. That said, I'm just getting started but knew what I wanted in a machine that I could grow in to and the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus delivers. I'll jump into it: - Build Quality & Design: Sleek, sturdy, and doesn't take up much counter space at all. While some of the tools that you get in the box are on the cheaper side, the portafilter, baskets, tamper, and milk pitcher are solid and great to learn on. You can pull some good shots right out of the box that are as good and potentially better than what you'd get at a coffee shop. The machine is weighty, the buttons are crisp and tactile, and overall I do think this will last years to come with no issues. - Features: The thermoblock has you ready to go in about 30 seconds. Even quicker if you leave it on in standby mode. You can brew at 3 different temps to accommodate different roasts. While there are default settings for single and double shots, you're able to program the volume of water for each to have the coffee to water ratio of your liking (you'll need a good scale to get this right). The automatic milk frother works well, and I think serves its purpose for those who just want foam and aren't too worried about coffee shop level microfoam. That said, you can achieve a silky microfoam steaming manually, but I'm still working on it. The included double-walled baskets are best for pre-ground coffee that might not be as fresh because they do a good job at creating "crema". - Disclaimers: If you only plan on using pre-ground coffee, then you can certainly get by with what's in the box and not having to purchase extra accessories. If you want to use fresh, whole bean coffee and pull shots that have depth, different flavor profiles, actual crema, and compete with your favorite coffee shop, you'll need a good burr grinder and a scale to weigh out your beans and shots. That means spending more money, but can always be spaced out when you're ready to upgrade and take on the hobby. - Bottom Line: The De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus, while a bit pricey, has features that make brewing good espresso drinks easy, and great espresso drinks possible and the price can be justified for that reason. If you want to pick your own grinder, opt for this vs. the La Specialista. I'm happy with the purchase and look forward to many delicious drinks to come!

Dead on arrival with no resolution from Delonghi
We had a prior Delonghi espresso machine and an awesome customer service experience with them when it failed under warranty a few years so (quick full replacement, after about a year!), so when that machine died we confidently bought this one, a small upgrade. It was great, so we bought a second a few months later to send with a household family member who was moving out as a gift. This one was half dead on arrival, with the steaming/foaming function not functional. We all tried troubleshooting to no avail… while the first worked perfectly the second did nothing. The first one continues to work great on a daily basis - my point being, it’s not operator error, x 3. Amazon refused a return within the first week of purchase stating it had to be taken up with the manufacturer. Delonghi, instead of being helpful, first sent a clearly AI response doubting all three of our human abilities to properly use this machine, then after calling to force human interaction, required extensive video documentation of the product failure which wasted time, effort and at least half a gallon of milk. After several weeks, they then required the *brand new* device be shipped back in for “service.” This process was prompt, but after returning back home the machine doesn’t work at all and they are still not offering any helpful resolution. I raved about our prior experience when we had a machine failure under warranty which made us happy repeat customers, but this experience with a machine that was non-functional straight out of the box has been so incredibly infuriating. Hours and hours of time wasted on the phone, email and creating video, and it’s looking like $300 down the drain. Lesson learned to not buy appliance like this through Amazon, but I will certainly not buy another Delonghi product with this experience. A 50% chance of losing $300 are pretty crappy odds.

Awesome Machine
The De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus is awesome for any coffee lover. This compact espresso machine expertly balances functionality and style, making it a perfect addition to any kitchen. One of the standout features is its precise temperature control, which ensures that every shot of espresso is brewed to perfection, highlighting the rich flavors of the coffee beans. The sleek, stainless steel design not only looks fantastic but also feels sturdy and well-built. With a user-friendly interface, even beginners can master espresso-making in no time. The machine heats up quickly, allowing for almost instant gratification when that caffeine craving strikes. What truly sets the Dedica Maestro Plus apart is its versatility. The adjustable steam wand is perfect for frothing milk, allowing you to create café-quality lattes and cappuccinos at home. Plus, the two-in-one filter holder accommodates both ground coffee and E.S.E. pods, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred brewing method. Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to the removable drip tray and water tank. This attention to detail shows that De'Longhi has truly thought about the user's experience. In conclusion, the Dedica Maestro Plus is an excellent investment for those who appreciate quality coffee. Whether you’re a seasoned barista or just starting your coffee journey, this machine delivers consistently great results, making it a must-have for any coffee enthusiast. I love the stainless look and my new machine!

Small footprint, good espresso, auto milk steaming
The De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus is a nice small espresso machine with a few special features. The small size and lack of a grinder makes it great for the espresso afficionado who already has the perfect grinder, and it's nice that you have the flexibility of pairing with any grinder. Integrated systems with grinders are often impossible to maintain as far as cleaning the burrs, etc, so they fail early- not an issue with the Maestro! The small footprint and relatively lightweight machine is nice, but it makes it challenging to get the portafilter tightened enough, since there's nothing to hang on to so that the machine doesn't move while tightening- the machine is smart though and won't let you proceed making espresso until it's locked in tight enough. There's no pressure gauge on this machine, so it's up to you to dial in the grind and dose based on the speed/quality of extraction. Not a big hindrance, as it's one of those things you don't have to do very often if you regularly use the same coffee, but it may make it harder for beginners to know what they're looking for. The milk steaming/frothing features are one of the highlights of this machine, where there's an automatic setting that can be adjusted to your desired temperature and how much foam you want. This was nice, as I'm not a complete expert at milk steaming, and this also lets me walk away for a few seconds while it's doing the work. The steaming wand doesn't move much/is not very flexible for this reason, as they're expecting you to use the automatic setting and set your milk pitcher on the base. The automatic frothing/steaming worked great, and it even has a built in 'purge' feature to run some steam through the wand when it goes back to the 'home' location to avoid clogs. The wand with sensor is a bit harder to clean than your average steam wand, since it's two pieces close together, but a quick wipe off with a damp cloth works well.

Easy to use espresso machine
I have used the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus for about 3 months, after replacing an older espresso machine. The machine comes with 4 baskets, 2 that are pressurized, and 2 that are not. Each type has both a single and double shot basket. I have only used the non-pressurized baskets - they do require a little more effort and experimenting to get the grind size correct, but they are easier to clean than the pressurized baskets. One thing to be aware of with this machine is there is no method to dispense hot water; the steam wand only does steam. If you only do espresso, and milk based drinks, this is not a problem. If you make Americanos, then this could be a problem. What I do is just put water in the frothing pitcher, set the temperature to high, and use the steam wand to create hot water. It works fine. (If I need a lot of hot water, I use an electric kettle.) The steam wand offers various settings for foam, etc, when using milk, and it works reasonably well. The self flushing feature of the steam wand is also nice. You can also use the steam wand manually, if you are really picky about the consistency of your steamed milk. On the whole, it's a nice machine. It can handle reasonably tall coffee mugs (but probably not travel mugs), and also espresso cups with an included attachment.

Great (for a week) then “okay” there after until you cannot use machine (regardless of descaling)
I really wanted to love this machine—and at first, I absolutely did. Out of the box, the espresso quality was excellent, and the Auto LatteArt steam wand was genuinely impressive. It made consistently good microfoam with almost no effort, and for a compact machine, it felt like a big step up from entry-level options. However, over time (daily use: ~2 double lattes per day), the same issue developed—twice. Despite staying on top of maintenance and descaling every couple of weeks, the steam system gradually degraded: - First, the auto steam stopped producing proper foam - Then manual steaming still worked (with effort) - Eventually, the steam pressure dropped significantly The first unit failed within a year and was replaced under warranty after some back-and-forth with support. Unfortunately, the replacement followed the exact same pattern. This doesn’t feel like a one-off defect—it feels like a design weakness, especially around the automatic steam system. If you rely heavily on milk drinks, expect performance to decline over time, even with proper care. Pros: - Excellent espresso for the size - Compact, clean design - Auto steam works very well… at first (for a week) Cons: - Steam wand reliability is poor long-term - Auto frothing degrades quickly with regular use - Descaling alone doesn’t prevent the issue - Warranty support required persistence Bottom line: Great beginner/intermediate machine if you don’t use the steam function heavily. But for daily latte drinkers, durability—especially of the steam system—is a real concern. I wouldn’t buy it again

Amazing espresso machine for beginners. You just cant make bad coffee with this.
This is going to be a long review. But quick overview - if you have never used espresso machines and have the budget for this machine, there will be no regrets. Just go ahead and buy it. This machine is a "semi-automatic" espresso machine due to its amazing auto-frothing wand. I was stuck between purchasing the more expensive, more prone to breaking automatic machine (you also have to do more maintenance to keep them healthy) as I was a beginner and was afraid I won't be able to brew a good cup with manual machine. But this machine hits just the right spot. It gives you enough control to make you feel like a barista and it takes away just enough control so that you can never make bad coffee. :) Background: I'm not at all an expert in brewing coffee. So far, anytime I had coffee at home, I was using instant coffee. Eventually I got tired of the lack of richness in instant coffee, and I wanted to brew lattes, cappuccinos and anything coffee - right at home. With the real beans. This little machine helps me do just that - all while taking very little space and time. I have used the machine for past 5 days and I have never used one before. The quick start guide that came along helped me setup and brew the first cup in 15 minutes. That's it! The guide is so simple and machine is so easy to use you won't ever need to read the manual again probably. Looks and build quality: Beautiful metal finish. Very little plastic. Both metal and plastic are high quality. The black and metallic finish and the sleek build takes little space on your counter top. The number of components included are basically everything you will ever need to brew any kind of coffee at home. This is why I spent $100 more and bought this over purchasing other machines by competitors as they did not have everything I needed to brew a cup, so you would have to buy expensive third party parts causing you to end up spending even more than this machine. You get a scoop to measure ground coffee shot, a tamper, a tiny jug for frothing milk, portafilter (one and two shot, single and double walled) and even a tiny platform for smaller glasses that would cause splatters from dripping espresso. The water dispenser of the machine is big enough so you won't have to worry about refilling for a week or two if you make 1-2 cups everyday. Usage: Now lets talk about ease of use. To brew a cup - you get ground coffee (or grind it yourself like I do), and get some milk in the jug provided with machine, filled half-way. Now put the grounds in portafilter (with your desired filter plugged in), press it firmly with the tamper until you can see the 3 marks on portafilter, put it on the machine and hit the espresso button. That's it! Now for the frothing part (my favourite). Just put the jug under the frothing wand in the auto position. And twist the side knob to steam position. Based on the selected texture/temperature on the machine, you end up with the perfectly hot, perfectly frothed milk. Quickly wipe the steaming wand with damp cloth right after removing the jug after frothing (careful, it's a little hot). Otherwise the milk dries up and sticks to the wand, slightly messier to clean. Maintenance: If you clean frothing wand after each use, clean the water jug every time you fill it up again and also clean the drip tray once a week, this machine will not disappoint you. The only other part is desalination, which you usually perform at frequent intervals depending on the water hardness in your region. But these 4 maintenance activities are the only ones you need to perform to keep the machine healthy. Thanks for reading the review, I hope it helps you make good decisions. Cheers! :)

Great product
It product top quality and very strong and proper espresso also the automatic froth maker is also working good. The only thing to notice is that it uses US pin and the power requirement is completely different from india, so u must use a stepdown transformer or else it will burn the machine

ESPECTACULAR

Solid!
Both the machine and the accessories are easy to use, disassemble, and clean. Everything works perfectly so far. The included 3 year manufacturer warranty is a nice touch. I like that there are different temperature settings for different kinds of coffee beans/roasts and also for milk steaming. There are 1 and 2 shot perma filters included, with both vacuum seal for newbies and regular perma filters if you're experienced. They are easy enough to swap out. I've been running nothing but double shots with the vacuum seal filter and am pleased with the result, especially when making lattes. The one kind of crummy part is that the included steaming pitcher is really tiny and only foams enough at a time for a 250 ml cup, so I end up running the cycle twice. However the pitcher is solidly built, and the milk foamer has both automatic and manual operations, and the inside is self cleaning. The automatic setting doesnt let you hold the wand far enough from the milk to get good foam but the with the manual function you can. You can turn off the manual function with a quick flip of the switch you turn it on with. Overall I would still get this unit again.
