Despite some critics claiming the sound quality is lacking, it's important to recognize that this is not an arena system but a highly portable, compact rig with valuable features. While it doesn't feature a large subwoofer (8") and has a small array, its 1300 watts of power have limitations. It's best suited for music playback at moderate levels, not as a DJ system due to its lack of punch. However, it should satisfy acoustic guitar players who also sing and can work for light sound reinforcement depending on the material used. A jazz group not using mics could employ it for their singer, but careful consideration of volume levels is crucial for optimal performance in any situation.

I ordered this “used like new” from Amazon, as I’ve always received returned items and they work great. I enjoy saving the money and giving a product a second chance, so to say. This arrived with a nice quality box and it clearly had been opened, which is perfectly fine. But that’s where it ends. I opened the product up and there was some dust and light debris on it, clearly from sitting in someone’s house for a bit potentially. Still not a big deal really. But then I plugged into my DJ rig on DJ mode, since I purchased this as a cocktail hour speaker for weddings. The bass would not punch at all, and all six of its top tweeters are blown. A terrible crackle and I had to turn the volume way up to really hear anything. Even tried another cable and also with my bass in Cafe mode. Still the same. I’m convinced that this was ordered to provide music at a party too large for its purpose, and someone cranked it way up. Already boxed up and ready to return as damaged. I’m not sure why Amazon didn’t test this given its look and lack of internal packing, but it is what it is I guess. I’m hoping they don’t resell it and someone ends up in my position again. I will say that this speaker looks nice; just wish I could have heard it. The idea of packing up into a small unit is great.
