We Do Not recommend handling the soil, opening the vial, or removing the leakproof plastic stopper. If you do open the vial to examine the contents, wear gloves, goggles, and a dust mask. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth. Do not ingest, inhale, or bring in contact with food. Wash hands after handling the material. Soil samples are unprocessed natural rock materials. It is a source of diverse radioactive materials. Soild is tested for radioactivity using a certified and calibrated Digital Geiger counter that has passed ANSI-STD N323A. Our radioactive soil sample comes in a securely labeled glass vial, shipped in accordance with NRC and Postal Service regulations.
