Aromatic Pineapple - Eau de Parfum - Inspired by Y - Long-Lasting Fragrance - Masculine - 1.7 fl oz (50ml)

This is a very masculine scent and quite close to YSL Y EDP. It has a quick dry down, so for most of the wear, it smells like clary sage, geranium, and juniper berry over a woody base. Of the top notes, the ginger seems to linger the longest, though it’s not the sharp or overly spicy type of ginger that can be off-putting.

I was gifted a bottle of YSL cologne and was bummed when I ran out cause I really didn’t feel like spending $100+ to get more. That’s when I heard about Dossier. I was truly skeptical at first but this smells almost exactly like YSL, in my opinion. It’s an impressive dupe. I wear it every day.

Honestly I have never tried the original YSL perfume this is supposed to replicate. I just bought a Dossier dupe for my husband’s Dior and it was an amazing product that I just trusted their other products would be good too. We got this as a gift for my nephew graduating middle school so I asked chat gbt what dossier cologne was good for a young boy starting high school and it told me this one! Chat gbt didn’t lie because this scent is perfect for a younger boy wearing to highschool. My husband is even interested in buying it for himself to wear to play sports and casual wear because it smells so fresh and youthful for a guy!

I didn’t necessarily want to drop $100+ on YSL’s Y EDP, As I’m sure that’s why many of you are here. I sprayed Y EDP on one wrist and this on the other, and on first spray they’re basically identical, with Dossier’s being a lot less harsh and synthetic smelling. On the dry down it changes a bit more compared to Y, it smells a bit sweeter almost (which is a plus for me!). It also doesn’t seem to last as long, but it’s like 8hrs with Dossier and 12+ with YSL, so not a huge deal. Overall, worth it!

My favorite perfume but unfortunately, Amazon sent me the wrong scent. :( I was sent Floral Violet in error, it does smell ok.

Smells good like when you open a magazine with a sample scent card , but I’m not getting any pineapple scent from it. Could be just me though.

The fragrance smells great, but that's where the positives end. It has very poor longevity on the skin and almost no projection. In my experience, the scent became barely noticeable within 10 minutes of application. I had high expectations for this fragrance, but it was a huge disappointment. A good scent means very little if it doesn't last, and unfortunately, this one doesn't. In my opinion, it's simply not worth the money.

Smells "fresh" and "clean" like sweet crisp air. Definitely unisex scent, leaning a little toward masculine but not that rugged oil stench. A light intriguing sweet but intoxicating smell not too strong but definitely enough to turn heads. Many compliments. Give it a shot if you are into the clean, fresh, sweet scents. Hard to explain but it's very delightful. Funny thing I would not have guessed pineapple at all would be associated with the scent smells nothing like pineapple really. Almost like a light linen jasmine. Is very nice. When you buy it you'll have to decide who's wearing it. I guarantee one of you will force the other to wear it, whoever pulls it off better. We both love the smell.
