This a great book and has help me up my python and SQL skills

As you might expect from a product on two topics this is not totally exhaustive on either topic but it is a very useful introduction to both. There is more than enough information for you to create useful applications and guide you for future development.

I am a complete newcomer to both Python and SQL. This collection of books walks you through both in a quick way, taking you from absolute novice level to someone with a good grasp of the fundamentals and insights into more advanced areas. I particularly liked the well-formatted examples and the resources at the end of the book will provide easy sources for further research and learning. For such a potentially dry topic, the books were actually quite easy to read and will, I am sure, be useful references to revisit as I try to learn both Python and SQL. 5/5 well-deserved stars from me.

I love learning new things. I thought I would give programming a go. Thus book is perhaps not for complete beginners like me but the style soon had me taking small successful steps, which is encouraging. I will definitely persevere with it.

I'm rather disappointed with this item. As a newbie to this subject, I expected complete instructions to practice the coding exercises. I've been forced to fall back on the Chatbots for this invaluable aid.

This is the best book for starting developers with Python language and SQL database queries and manipulation. It doesn't just contain codes but the explanation of the PC/device components and how they affect your programming experience. Describes tips for safe coding by enhancing techniques to avoid security breaches, like SQL injection. The book also gives you a list of different tools, like text editors and IDEs that developers use for writing their code. There are some definitions at the end of the book, and exercises too. It is a great book. It would have been a great help for me when I started in cybersecurity engineering to understand some of the concepts and definitions that I came across at my job. I will keep this guide close to check up some codes or concepts when I need it. Just one thing, please be very careful by using VSCode or Visual Studio Code extensions! The Visual Studio Marketplace contains a lot of malware infected extensions. Use only the extensions from recognizable authors (extensions owned by big companies).

Let us be clear I am a real beginner. I was attracted by the 5 books in 1. I have just started this book on a quest to learn a new skill. I am finding the style of writing easy to follow and feel like it is encouraging my learning.

Dovevo acquisire i primi rudimenti di Python e volevo una guida passo-passo che mi spiegasse con esempi pratici. Inoltre avevo bisogno poi di esercizi che mi insegnassero a creare i primi progetti. Ho trovato tutto in questo libro, ben costruito con tantissimi esempi. Finalmente adesso riesco a scrivere i miei primi programmi. Inoltre ho iniziato anche con la parte SQL ed anche in questo caso sto apprendendo molte nozioni in modo facile e veloce. Ottimo acquisto. Vale assolutamente il prezzo pagato. Lo consiglio a chi come me ha sempre voluto imparare Python!

Basic information on Python sind sql are provided. Descriptions and highlevel examples are fine and will help beginners to understand.

I work in CyberSecurity which is not what my background is in. So I have had to learn the technical skills as I go, and this book has been tremendously valuable as positions are becoming more and more reliant on a baseline knowledge in SQL and Python. Those are a must for any professional in the future, and this book does a great job in equipping the reader with being able to build those muscles.

Good book and content is also useful. However I didn't like the formatting in the Kindle version. Author should focus on formatting more to make it more easy to read
