RED Heart Super Saver Yarn, Spring Green

I was honestly a little bummed when I realized I paid almost twice as much for this yarn the first time I bought it. Thankfully I caught it on sale the second time and stocked up for my temperature blanket project! The colors are beautiful, the yarn is soft, and it works up nicely with good stitch definition. I've had no issues with splitting, and the color transitions look great in my blanket. The photo shows part of my temperature blanket in progress, and I'm really happy with how it's turning out. If you're considering this yarn for a blanket or other large project, I'd definitely recommend keeping an eye out for sales. Great quality and gorgeous colors—I'll be buying it again.

RED HEART Super Savers are soft, yarn doesn’t split, colors are always vibrant and the center start strand is easy to find. Pricing is fantastic. I can’t get enough!

This red heart, super saver yarn in the color of Aruba Sea it’s very beautiful. The perfect color I needed to finish the blanket. Does not split. It’s a great product at a great price.

I'm hesitant to buy Red Heart Super Saver online as you never know if you're getting a soft yarn or a tough and scratchy one. They seem to spend all their money on color designers, as so much of the multi colored yarn is beautiful, when we wish they would make more of their yarn softer. I bought the colorway Money and this has to be the softest Red Heart yarn I've ever handled. The color looks darker than online and leans more purple, but purple is my color so I'm fine with that. I've already ordered more.

What can go wrong with Red Heart yarn? When I bought this it was running around $3.00 which is a steal for this quality of yarn. I find that wether I am knitting or crocheting the yarn does not pull apart, there might be one spot where the yarn ran out and another ball is tied on, and super nice to work with. It is not very soft so I would not be making baby items or sweaters with it but adult blankets, dog blankets, art yarn, and other craft items would be fine. I have not washed this yarn but it does spot clean well. I would also write that this yarn is somewhat versatile. I make Christmas trees with my yarn and I listed earlier what other items could be made. I think this yarn has a home spun look to it. This is not bad but I do not see making a nice top or even a skirt. I could see some nice dolls made from this yarn.

This was good yarn for my grandson’s blanket. It softened as I was crocheting but still made a stable blanket and didn’t tangle easily or split. It was easy to work with and the skein was large. The red was bold but not neon.

I like crocheting with this kind of yarn the best, you get more for your money, it's easy to work with, doesn't itch me and it comes in some real nice colors.. I added aran to this paddy green.. real pretty Afghan
