I purchased the pillow for an upcoming eye operation. I did not sleep on this pillow, but after placing it in a large pillowcase, I attempted to lay flat on my back and realized I have too many other skeletal problems that exceed the ability of a pillow to make a difference. So, I cancelled my surgery and returned this pillow. I must say that it is well constructed, and I like the firmness adjustment feature. For most people this should serve them well. Go for it!

This pillow was fairly soft and worked in the sense that it kept me from rolling over and kept my neck from rolling too far to either side. However, the area of the pillow for your neck to lay on was too high for me and pushed my head too far forward so I woke up in immense pain. I am somewhat petite so it is possible it would be comfortable for other people with longer necks. I returned this item.

The pillow does, somewhat, keep ones head in place but, at the cost of a sore neck. I have tried adjusting the fill but still wake up with neck pain and not mild pain either. Also, it is quite uncomfortably hot. Can't complain about the quality of construction. It has led to many morning headaches.

I’ve been a side sleeper and have tried to convert into a back sleeper because of the benefits. However, it’s been such a struggle cause NONE of the things I’ve tried have worked… until now! This pillow is soft and keeps your head in place! The quality is great and it’s stopped me from sleeping on my side! If you’re also struggling to sleep on your back, you NEED this pillow!

I was so excited to get this pillow to see if I would sleep better. Unfortunately, for my situation, it didn’t work for me. I sleep at an incline and this is for sleeping totally on your back laying flat. So it’s going back. It also wasn’t keeping my head from going side to side. Too much room on each side of my head. I’m sure it’s great for other people as has been reviewed. Just not for me.

I got this for my husband. He didn't like that he couldn't contorted it to sleep on his side. I tried it and didn't like that it touched my ears. It had a soft texture and pleasant rebound.

I've been trying to train myself to sleep on my back for years with mixed results. Perviously i tried one of those memory foam cervical alignment pillows, which didn't work, I like this one much better. I can do almost a full night on my back with this pillow and here's what I liked. The pillow is softer, the place where your head goes is shredded memory foam. This makes it softer. The case is not overstuffed, but it comes with some extra foam if you need to fill it up more to make it firmer. The bolsters on the side are a single piece or molded foam. That part is firmer so you're not going to accidentally roll over onto your stomach. There's not a huge rise to the pillow. As it comes, its more like a flatter pillow in the middle The bolsters on each side come up high enough to rest your cheek on. To me this gives the feel of sleeping on my stomach without actually sleeping on my stomach. That pillow against my face helps with the transition to back sleeping. The cover is a white quilted fabric which is not easily removable so you'll want a cover of some sort.
