To change things up, I installed the shorter arms so they create an “S” providing more visual interest. It looks lovely. My electrician informed me that the LED G9 bulbs tend to flicker when on a dimmer so I decided to forgo installing a dimmer switch. The light is bright but warm. Happy so far!

I’d been looking for an uncommon mid century modern chandelier with enclosed bulbs for a while, finally decided on this, and was pleasantly surprised by the textured mat finish and the overall quality. The black metal has some weight. It was challenging for my electrician to hold each arm pressed in while I tightened the arms in place but we succeeded then the white glass globes screwed on easily. To change things up, I installed the shorter arms so they create an “S” providing more visual interest. It looks lovely. My electrician informed me that the LED G9 bulbs tend to flicker when on a dimmer so I decided to forgo installing a dimmer switch. The light is bright but warm. Happy so far!
