SVNXINGTII SAS9305-24i LSI 9305-24i Logic Controller Card IT Mode 24-Port SAS 12Gb/s pci-e 3.0 HBA SATA SAS Review: I converted my old system into a NAS and the CPU and Memory was far more than I needed to run the NAS. When I started running out of disk space I discovered external SAS/SATA drive cases so getting a card that could handle more drives made perfect sense. This card was a replacement for an 8 port card in my TrueNAS system. After swapping the cards TrueNAS recognized the card and the drives and everything went perfectly fine. I used two adapters that brought the 16 drives worth of ports to the back of the box and now have an additional 8 drives on the system. This is a purchase I am very happy with. Review: This card had very old firmware on it and was not in IT mode. The card would keep dropping drives and and re adding them every few seconds. Ordered a replacement card, it was the 16 port version of the card but in the box for the 24 port one. Ordered a replacement one from a different seller zero regrets!
