Solid and compact one click On/Off, one battery flashlights. Bright!
These are great little flashlights! The perfect combination of size, quality, brightness, ease of use, and having a low cost. My pack of 3 flashlights came in a small box, were delivered quickly, well packaged, and came with a warranty card and thank you notice. The flashlights were individually wrapped and obviously brand new. I got these to have on hand for power outages and walking at night. I've been using an even smaller AAA flashlight from another company, which I still like, but it wasn't as bright as I wanted while walking nights, so I went looking for something brighter. These Ultrafire mini's are twice as bright as my older flashlight. They use only one AA battery, and has a instant on/off with one click use. That was a big deal for me - I did NOT want a light I have to click through 5 modes to get to what I want, and then 5 more clicks to turn it off. With these -- Just click it on, click it off! It is way bright enough for me, and can zoom the light far away to light the treetops. The construction seems very solid. Has a small belt clip if you need that. The button is orange and seems very strong. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a bright compact one-clicker, one-battery flashlight that you can store anywhere, even carry in your pocket or clip on your belt. Even those the are small, they put out a LOT of light and can zoom. And you get THREE of these currently for a low price. I think these are a bargain and I will probably order more because I have already given one away.

Bright and compact design
These mini flashlights are bright and compact! The adjustable focus beam works well for both spotting and wide area lighting. The LED is powerful and battery life is good. Perfect size to keep in car, bag, or around the house. Durable construction and feels solid. Great value for a 3-pack. Very handy to have multiple flashlights available!

~This flashlight is for illuminating your way back to the flashlight you dropped.~
~This flashlight is for illuminating your way back to the flashlight you dropped.~ I say this half-jokingly and was split in regards to how I would rate this flashlight (and other similar clones). Aside from micro USB cables and bottles of vape-juice, I've never purchased more of one item than these flashlights and their similar "cree LED" clones. I have a love/hate relationship and need to state that whether or not to buy some is completely situational/based entirely off your use case. First three-ish months into EDC? 4/5 Everyday Carry (Approaching month five)?: 2.25/5 Everyday Carry (Approaching month seven)? 1/5 General purpose/ Car flashlight / Well thought-out stocking stuffer / Backup flashlight / Having spares in the event you need to equip 9 fellow-lifeguards in the event of a facility blackout/ Always having a flashlight within reach at home? : 11/5 (easily) They're dirt cheap, relatively small, the focusable beam is extremely nice to have (one of the primary reasons I've carried this model or a similar variant everyday for the past 6 years), and they run on a single AA battery (the best part) I feel like the best analogy is a cheap, stamped AK 47: nice-ish at first, but eventually (and inevitably) they will [poop] the bed. Initially the light will begin to flicker, then it will cut out, then you'll have to whack it against something to get it working again, it'll cut out again, then it will repeat the cycle with increasing frequency until you get less than a second of light per-whack. Then you either swap it out for a new clone from the stockpile, or you decide you've finally had enough and decide to buy a nicer, more reliable AA light (splitting up the stockpile into various locations) Another drawback [specific to the single-mode version] is that it guzzles batteries like you wouldn't believe. (i.e. 3 batteries to the hour (BPH)) in all seriousness though, the single-mode version (high-mode only) will give you approx 4.5 hours runtime per battery (before dying completely). Brightness will drop gradually the entire time. In the event SHTF, one perk to this type of light (aside from being able to restock by yipe-ing batteries from a TV remote or literally any other household device) is that every component in every clone is interchangeable. With such a [probably] widely available flashlight, you can swap out the lens, swap out the main body, swap the tailcap, swap gaskets, or swap the pocket clip if it breaks (hell, even the pocket clip screws work univerally, lol) To summarize, I wouldn't trust my life with it (and neither should you), but I believe it would be an EXTREMELY valuable addition to any SHTF bag (as a backup light), car glovebox, or basically placing one in every room of the house. Considering that I use my flashlight (on average) 20x per day, the poor-ish reliability of the light may be very specific to me

Great flashlight - my favorite
Who needs the flashlights that have modes of strobe and dull in addition to the 100% brightness mode. Those tri-mode flashlights seem versatile at first glance, but really, 99.99% of the time, when your flashlight goes into one of those two sub-optimal modes, you have to annoyingly adjust it back to the intended full brightness mode. That's what's so great about this single mode bright LED flashlight. It's got a great superbright sharp beam that's easily slideable into a broader, but still bright beam. No silly strobe or dull mode to cycle through. It's durable and reliable. Oh, it's maybe only 85%-90% as bright as this model used to be years ago since Ultrafire made a tweak to it's engineering to make battery life even longer, but it's still brighter than lots of other seemingly similar competitor flashlights. Upon noticing the slight decrease in brightness from my older version of the same model, I wrote to the company who were so quick and friendly in responding, confirming my observation and explaining the change. What a great product backed by a great company! My only wish is that the flashlight came with a big attached wristband to make use of the light a little easier. Competitors' (inferior) flashlights do (although some of those wristbands are too small), and that's missing here. But, the attached hook makes it easy to attach my own band -- less convenient than if one came preattached, but still workable. OH, and one more thing. I love how this long-lasting flashlight uses just a single AA battery. Others (which are no brighter) use 3 AAA batteries. Those are less convenient and bulkier. Still others use only more obscure batteries (which I think this can use as well ... but it's not essential). Nope, I prefer the flashlights that use the ubiquitous (easy to find anywhere) AA batteries ... and just one of them.

As Advertised
TL;DR - Out of the box experience: Appears to be a really good value for the money with a simple off/on button. Light output is expected. I have no need to know what's 300 feet in front of me. 3 Pack Arrived all in working condition. The ~300 lumens light output is what I'm looking for 5/5. Low light output. I'm not sure these are 300 Lumens in flood, maybe when the beam is focused. The light output is on the cooler side of the color spectrum. Single mode switch 3/5 - Power button simple on/off is what I'm looking for. Note: when flashlight is in the on position, soft pressing the power button will turn the light off until removing pressure on the switch. For general walking around through desert or mountain tops, I do not want a blazing spot light. I'd rather let my eyes adjust to enough light (full moon kind of light) to be able to see and prefer longer battery life and consistent light rather than a fire ball. Without evaluating the longevity of battery life, I'm expecting hours of use on a single AA battery as my J5 Tactical flashlights. These aluminum housings are built really well 5/5 The zoom motion is ok 3/5 The button on the rear seems fine, but I think they could have put more thought and quality into the on/off button switching mechanism. I'd give the button alone a 3/5. For comparison, I've never dropped any of my J5 Tactical flashlights and the only one I haven't lost out of 3 is still going strong since 2016. These Ulltrafire Mini Flashlights are a very similar build quality and size as the J5 Tactical and put out similar light with adjustable zoom. For now, these start off with a 5/5 because of the value they provide, appear to be as advertised and the similarity of performance of a similar $20 J5 Tactical V1 Pro flashlight I have. I paid $12 each for the J5 in 2016.

Anyone know how to fix them?
ORIGINAL REVIEW 2022-12-30: If anyone has figured out how to modify the switches in these for improved reliability, I am sure I and others would love to hear how to do so. I so wish this could be 5 stars. Like other reviewers, my experience with 12 of these units, purchased over time, is that they work great initially, then after a month or two of light daily use, the on-switch becomes unreliable. Literally, I do not know if the single-mode button is going to turn on the flashlight, when I know the battery is still good. It is hard to say why this happens, except that it seems there must wear in the switch. After degrading, the funny thing is, the switch might work 99% of the time, or 90% of the time, temperamentally. I always carry two, since a) the switch could temporarily conk out on one, and b) the 14500 cell only lasts about half an hour, so more juice may be needed anyway. Still, I wish I could have pretty much guaranteed light-on, if I know the cell is not depleted yet (basically the flashlight's only job). I also have some of another same-design-different-brand option, with the same results as reported. Other than the glaring reliability problem, the design is great--that is why I would so much enjoy to implement a modification to fix them. Good size, inexpensive, great illumination with 14500 cells. Nice to accept AA in case those are needed. Simple design, compact, pretty robust (except for the switch issue). EDIT 2023-01-15: I now hypothesize the switching inconsistency may develop at least in part due to corrosion build-up on the metal plate that contacts the positive end of the 14500 battery (instead of the problem being isolated to the switch itself as originally seemed logical). The hypothesis arises from unscrewing the front/bulb end of the flashlight, and seeing green corrosion as pictured. To test this, I tried cleaning the green off to the best of my ability--some came of easily, and some green remained--and re-inserting the battery. After a cleaning like this, one one flashlight, the switching did seem to return to normal. I do not use these in particularly harsh environments. I do wonder if regular inspection and cleaning of the positive-end contact plate could prevent switching reliability issues. On some of my HWA WTS UltraFire Mini SK68 flashlights the bulb-end does unscrew easily, while on other otherwise seemingly identical units, the front-end does not seem to unscrew for detachment and cleaning. I will update this again if I get the reliability issue figured out any better, since right now I am not sure if the problem really was the corrosion issue. EDIT 2023-05-19: It has been over 3 years of having UltraFire SK68 HWA WTS mini flashlights. Since my last edit, I now feel more confident that the green corrosion on the metal plate interfacing with the positive battery end that I experienced making the lights unreliable is probably the result of the environment of my usage pattern. I was typically moving two flashlights to a humid environment for about 20 minutes a day. I think the flashlights are not designed for this use. You could probably drop it in a bucket of water for a second and be fine, but I think a prolonged humid environment, even if not terribly long, if done regularly, will result in corrosion buildup. Also, some of these lights seem dimmer over time. I don't know if it's just me, since I am not measuring the luminosity. This dimness could be from the corrosion too, though I am not sure. I did drop some of them, maybe that's part of it, too. Anyway, the ones that do not see rougher (but still pretty tame) service still seem okay; I like them as a backup light stashed places still. ALTERNATIVE: I must report that I have moved my regular pocket flashlights to another single model supporting 14500 cells, by ActiveFire (ASIN B089GLFYKJ). In contrast with the UltraFire, the ActiveFire has o-rings on both sides of the battery, has a waterproofness rating, and so far does not seem affected by regular temporary humidity. Also, the ActiveFire seems at least twice as bright as the UltraFire, and I think the ActiveFire have better battery life. However, the does not have the extremely even light pattern that the UltraFire has (though the ActiveFire light pattern has its merits). The ActiveFire cost is 340% the cost of the UltraFire flashlight, and well worth it for this size light with reliable on-off, at least for regular, daily use, in my opinion. While I hope to continue to see improvements in the offerings for style of light, I am pretty satisfied at present.

Handy small torch
Works well and great to have a torch that you don't need to ridiculously cycle through multi-modes everytime you switch it on.

Cheap trash
The button mechanism is absolute garbage - put 1g of pressure on the button and the torch starts flashing. Everything about this was made to be as cheap as possible.
