Worked great, easy plug and plug, no stick drift so far. DIDNT COME WITH THE TOOLS THO.

I purchased this to replace a joystick in my ROG Ally that would not register left and right. Installation was very easy and only took about 15 minutes. It’s as easy as removing some screws, unplugging some cables, and then reinstalling them. After installing, plug the ROG Ally into the factory charger. This is required if you unplugged the battery cable under the covers. When it boots, launch Armoury Crate and run the joystick calibration. The new joysticks performances exactly like the original. I cannot tell a difference.

These are not designed to spec, the four main directions work fine, but all diagonals only register to half distance, almost like it simulates keyboard presses. Find a better stick if you want quality, but avoid if you want better precision. ***Update*** With a bit of finessing, I was able to get it completely recalibrated. It's not perfect, but the stick works well enough. Know that while it is a drop in replacement, you will have to dial it in to get it functional to the level of the original sticks. Seller was quick to respond and offered a refund. I raised my review from 1 star to 4 due to exceptional customer support.

Exact mechanical stick that comes with the original ROG ally. Identically same. Its a common issue, one of the joy sticks get unresponsive after a few months, so had to buy this one. Its been two months and so far working well. Found Ally to be pretty modular, so replacing this was not difficult. Pretty good at the pricepoint.

Ich konnte mein Gerät (ASUS ROG ALLY Z1 EXTREME) einwandfrei, mit diesem Set reparieren. Ich habe einfach ein YouTube Video laufen lassen und bin der Anleitung gefolgt und konnte so, selbstständig den Stickdrift auf der linken Seite fixen. Schnelle Lieferung, alles heile angekommen. Würde jederzeit wieder bestellen! 10/10

Perfect fit for Asus Rog z1 extreme. But expensive but okay. Quality feels not as good as original though.

Ich bin so mega happy mit dem Stick. Hatte einen Drift der dadurch entstanden ist, dass der Ally von etwa 40cm Höhe auf die Front gefallen ist. Kalibrierung war also erfolglos. Habe diesen Stick bestellt weil in der Beschreibung auf die Kalibrierung hingewiesen wurde. Finde ich gut, wenn darauf hingewiesen wird, dass ein Austausch oft nicht nötig ist. Zum Austausch: Habe mir die iFixit Anleitung zur Seite genommen und circa 20 bis 30 Minuten zur Reparatur gebraucht (gemütlich, mit Kaffee). Wenn man eine bebilderte Anleitung nutzt ist der Austausch nicht schwer und erspart einem den Kontakt des schrecklichen ASUS Kundenservice. Die Qualität des Sticks ist perfekt. Sieht auch aus wie ein Original. Und nach dem Austausch war nicht mal eine Kalibrierung nötig. Sehr zufrieden. Kann dieses Ersatzteil uneingeschränkte empfehlen.
