Do these work with the Starbucks Verismo?

Sorry these do not work with Verismo, also take note Verismo is new it will take years before patent expires so don't bother searching for compatibles.

Yes, these are ESE paper pods and will work with the Delonghi NC680M

Can these pods be opened and used in a regular espresso machine

If you mean tear open and get the ground coffee out, probably, but I don't know why would you do that. That would be a waste of money in my opinion. If you mean just open the pack, then no, unless the machine is ESe compatible.
