Got 2 of them wired parallel for 2 ohms and am running them at around 800 watts(soundquebed 1250 amp) and they look and sound great. They're in the trunk of a Corolla S and my alternator is just fine. At what seems to be their peak volume (without distorting) they sometimes make an excursion noise. Like a high pitched squeal up close. You'd only hear it if you were up close but I've made sure to keep them safe from overextending themselves by resetting gain. Still plenty loud, plenty low(does subsonic frequencies really nice and present which was what I was looking for) and yea overall great product. I'd recommend this over the Rockford Fosgate P2s only because they're more powerful, cheaper, and great quality. Nothing disqualifies high fidelity subwoofers from cars.
