Quality the the TechLast Product is really good!
FYI: I've got to give high-fives to this supplier, both for the 12" I got and just received another TecLast 14" designated model 70. I don't know if the 70 is available any more, as it sold out and unavailable on Amazon. I found the larger unit on the TecLast link and I was on a wait list. But, there are other suppliers of larger tablets with similar specs. So, I initally opted for a larger tablet from a different supplier. It was OK in terms of size, but missed the mark in terms of the quality of screen for me. My use of the tablet is primarily as a reader of PDF music sheets. I use the MobileSheets application. I found the quality of the screen used on the large TecLast brand simply presented better (higher quality in terms of contrast and definition of lines and notes). On the other brand, some PDF files presented poorly while others were OK but not as good as on the TecLast. Also I think TechLast tablet's user interface implementation was better (i.e., the keyboard presentation and location in either landscape or portrait mode). It's subtle, but for my use (sometimes outside in sunlight) and/OR in landscape use (for two sheet presentation), the other large tablet was not as good. Moreover, the implementation of the UI was more intuitive on the TecLast. The other brand is good, but the TecLast is better. As a reference point, I use the relatively inexpensive tablets to replace a couple of very old Samsung Galaxy tablets, mainly the SMT-900 (Samsung's old 12 inch flagship model). The operating system is no longer supported on the older device, but its functional and the display was really good (and one unit was cracked from several drops). The TecLast is just as good. Now, I'm less worried when someone knocks over the music stand sending the tablet crashing to the floor. :-) The TecLast comes with a cover/case that's protects the device. The price point is great!

Excellent 12" tablet; great performance
This is my second Teclast tablet. They consistently supply a quality tablet. My older Teclast is still performing very well after 2 years of use. I bought a new unit due to larger screen, better battery life, more storage space, ability to add 1TB msdhc, and newer Android 14. The price is very good compared to not as good top end Samsung 12". The sound system is very good. Moving my software from the older unit to the new tablet was seamless. I haven't tried to add a SIM card and am not sure US carriers support the networks that Teclast supports. Android 14 has a lot of new features that my older Android 11 lacked. If you stream your TV, this makes a great additional TV. My only criticism of the Teclast brand, is the availability of quality slim cases. FIre tablets and ipads have a much wider selection of great cases availability. The case for the 12" tablet is an improvement over the 10.2" tablet case.

Battery did not last and China based company does not honor warranty
I purchased the Teclast T60 tablet and was initially impressed with its performance. For the first five to six months, the device functioned smoothly and met expectations, particularly given its competitive pricing and specifications. Unfortunately, around the sixth month, I began experiencing significant battery issues—rapid draining, charging inconsistencies, and eventual power failure. Given that Teclast advertises a one-year warranty, I reached out to their customer service team in hopes of resolving the issue. Although I initially received two responses, communication quickly ceased, and multiple follow-up attempts went unanswered. It became clear that support from Teclast, a China-based manufacturer, was going to be extremely limited or effectively nonexistent. Fortunately, I was able to escalate the matter through Amazon, who ultimately issued a full refund—something for which I’m very grateful. While the T60 tablet shows promise on paper and performs well early on, I cannot recommend this product due to the company’s lack of post-sale support. A warranty is only valuable if the company honors it, and in this case, Teclast failed to do so. Buyers should proceed with caution, particularly if they anticipate the need for any customer service or warranty support.

A great tablet, and "oh-so close" to perfect from TecLast
I normally buy Apple, but wanted a cheap "throw around" tablet and decided to try Android/Teclast a while back. 3 tablets later I still keep buying these Teclast tablets - maybe I have a problem. I gift my old ones away and people love them. I have had the M40 Pro, T40S, and now the T60. If you want the larger screen, this is probably their best one yet. I was about to order this model and import it, as I have been looking for it in the states for a while, then it (finally) arrived on Amazon. It was a few dollars more on Amazon, but you have easy returns and 2 day shipping. Still worth the price after the promotional coupon. Construction - 9/10. Really clean design - nice edges, slim design, feels solid, and lightweight. Lock button is textured and red which is nice being so close to volume buttons. USB-C charge port is on the bottom now. Back just has a cheap sticker for the model information, but that can be removed easily. Audio - 8/10. Probably the best audio yet in a Teclast tablet, you can actually use this at low volumes - previous models even on low volumes were quite loud. If you do crank it up, it gets pretty loud with decent bass for speakers this small. Nice it has four speakers, two on both sides. Display - 8/10. It's a really crisp large screen, but I dinged it a couple points because of a couple minor issues. 1) It's not very bright, if you plan to use this outdoors much you might have issues - it's fine inside. 2) Streaming (YouTube, etc.) the color tones just seem "off" to me, especially with skin tones. It's hard to describe, I thought initially it was a contrast setting but can't seem to completely fix it - people look almost washed out in videos. You don't really see it otherwise, and the effect is more noticeable depending on the amount of light in the scene. It's not a deal breaker, just odd, and I wonder if it's a result of the super high-res screen. 3) I can't seem to stream from my media server reliably anything over 1080P and ~20Mbps to the device. Which is fine (1080P on a 12" screen is plenty!), but was confused at first as I couldn't get videos to play until I forced it to downgrade the quality. Will test this more. Cameras - 6/10. It's nothing spectacular, and not very good in low light. But more then enough for a video call or quick pics. OS - It's Android 13, and if you like Android should be at home. Has a few nice features and benefits over 12. Also nice Teclast doesn't install any bloat-ware, and it did get an OS update over Wifi after setup. Not being a huge fan of Android, I install a different launcher and highly customize it. I was happy to see Nova Launch worked great on 13. Storage - It's HUGE! 8GB Memory (plus 8GB of slower expanded memory), and 256GB for your storage needs (still not sure why teclast calls it ROM memory). And if you need more storage, you can easily expand it with a micro SD card. It seems common in the Android/Tablet market to list the total memory as 16GB when it's really 8GB fast main memory + 8GB slower expansion memory. Even though it's only 8GB of fast memory I've had many things open at once with plenty of room to spare. You may need to enable the expansion memory in your settings. Performance - It's FAST! This thing is snappy, faster then any tablet I have purchased from them. I don't game much so can't comment on that, but think it should be fine with most titles. But web browsing and jumping between apps is instant response and a good experience. Battery - So far this seems reasonable, but still hope it improves after a few charge cycles. The faster CPU and large screen does come at a cost for power usage, but the big battery helps mitigate that some. AccuBattery (doesn't have much history yet) is saying 11 hours continuous, and 30 hours of time under normal "mixed" operating conditions. Cellular/SIM - Not tested, but it does support a SIM card and cellular data if you wanted to use that feature. What's in the BOX?! - Not much really. I was hoping for at least the (normally free) bundled flip case, but no luck. They did include an already applied free screen protector, so that's a win. Other then that, you get a USB-C cable and US power brick. Hopefully more accessories turn up on Amazon, as of right now if you want a case or better screen protector you'll need to import them. Sorry for the long review, hope it's helpful.

Easy to set up and start working, However...
The Teclast Tablet arrived quickly and packed securely. I was pleased to discover that it included a decent charger and cable which some companies don't include. Setting up the Teclast tablet was easy and fast as it linked to my old tablet and transfered all my apps , settings and links without a hitch. I use this tablet to create spreadsheets, and conduct all my business for work and I need a reliable tablet on the go. The screen quality is perfect for video and presentation work. I usually multitask and have tried to watch a Livestream while using Google meet simultaneously with only a minor issue with a sound delay, however , it may have been an issue with the Livestream source and not the Tablet. Overall I am pleased with the performance and quality of the Teclast tablet. Note: Cellular data bandwidth, may not be fully compatible with U.S. BASED CELLULAR NETWORKS.

Excellent quality and price item!
I like Teclast T60 very much. I needed a large tablet for having music sheets in front of my eyes while playing piano and for teaching apps from the Roland piano brand. My both kids have bad vision and I was very picky about picture quality and brightness. The tablet is large, bright, and sounds amazing (my music sheets app support sound accompaniment)! I can not tell definitely but it looks like stereo sound. Speakers from both sides give out different parties, that I can tell. The battery life is excellent, I charge it one a 3 days (but we do not use it for gaming). Now I can't stop using it for video while cooking and for entertainment in general. Without case it's slim, very pleasant to touch. No preinstalled junk apps. Screen protection (film) was preinstalled. SIM card functionality is unknown to me, but I believe any prepaid GSM-plan will work, so you will have unlocked phone, suitable for travel abroad. I highly recommend the tablet. The ratio price/(quality and features) can not be better!

Just Too Frustrating -- See Update
Update: Shortly after returning the tablet for a refund, the seller contacted me. Even though I had received a refund he offered to send me a new tablet free of charge. I declined the offer because I didn't think it fair for him to send me a tablet at no charge (plus, what predicament would I face if they new tablet wasn't as good or worse than the first?). I upgraded my review for 1 to 3 stars just because of their willingness to make matters right. I needed something to replace my iPad with a dying battery. New versions cost over $300 and I just don’t feel like dumping that much cash for something that might make a couple years. So, I got this unit on sale for well over $100 less. I should be thrilled, right? At this point, I’ll just cut to the chase and lists the pros and cons. Pros: * 12 inch screen. Not too many much larger in the Android arena and to get the iPad equivalent might cost you 4 to 5 times more. * Android 14 is intuitive to use. No bloatware helps a lot, too. * Decent resolution at 1200 x 2000. Notice I said decent, check the cons listing below. * 256GB storage plus up to 1TB via SD card. Standard iPad comes with just 64GB and no SD card storage. If you want more storage on your iPad, shell out some major bucks. * No problem connecting to wireless. Haven’t tried 5G yet. * Decent battery life, but not quite what the ad states. Maybe 6 hours of decent usage before it dips below 50%. After that it drops rather quickly. Cons: * Fingerprint ID? Nope. Facial ID? Maybe. Should work but doesn’t, at least not in my case. Tried taking my picture 5 times for the ID and all failed, no matter how bright the lighting was. * Accessories are not as numerous as Apple’s, but I did manage to score a case at a decent price. * Resolution is decent but the images are often blurry, especially when going to any busy websites. * Like a tablet that goes from portrait to landscape when you tilt it? How about one that does it randomly even though you haven’t touched it? Yep, all this tablet Mr. Undecided. I can only guess that the gyro is whacky. * That rear camera is rated at 13MP. Really? Took some of the grainiest pictures I’ve seen in a long time. AF (autofocus) was also wonky. It would go in and out of focus on the same object, often several times a second. With my enthusiasm, and patience, waning, I boxed it back up for a refund.
