Does this work on old scars?

My scars are a year or so old, so I don't know yet.

My strataderm from healthfirstaustralia is cloudy and not clear or transparent as is described in the description. what color was yours?

Hi That is correct. The gel will be an opaque or 'cloudy' color when it comes out from the tube. It will then dry quickly once being applied onto the skin to become clear.

No. The first two ingredients are proprietary forms of siloxanes and the last alkylmethyl silicones. 100% silicone would be useless.

What is the difference between the “professional use” formula and the non-professional use formulas by the same manufacturer?

I found no difference between the two. That is if you intend the orange tube only. I have no experience with what is offered other than in the orange tube. My dermatologist originally prescribed my first tube and then offered Strataderm could be purchased directly through the internet at a savings. The first tube was not covered by insurance and the OTC version was less expensive than the Strataderm purchased from his office. I've not seen a non professional use formula offered by this vendor other than various other scar treatment medications. I'd stay with the professional scar therapy because it works well if that's your question.

Es un producto de buena calidad, un poco elevado el costo pero es por ser de primer nivel, realmente se ve una diferencia entre un antes y un depues, ovbiamente recomiendan utilizarla cuando tu herida está reciente (débe autorizarlo tu médico) para que pueda disminuir su apariencia

Este producto demoró mucho en llegar, tuve que escribirle al contacto que viene porque ya tenía más de 3 semanas de retraso. Me la recetó mi dermatólogo para una cicatriz muy profunda que tengo y ha funcionado muy bien, ha quitado el tono rojizo que tenía y ha mejorado notablemente mi cicatrización.
