Autopot Air Domes are made up of porous bubble pipe inside a protective dome and connected to a small air pump to increase oxygenation in the root zone. Fitting into the bottom of both the Autopot and the Easy2Grow pots, the cross piece of bubble pipe is protected by a plastic dome which then helps to add dissolved oxygen to the nutrient solution. If you are using an Air Dome, we recommend mixing additional perlite in with the soil to create a 'fluffier' growing media that will create optimum conditions.

These things are must have for this system!!!
These domes are very important to these systems Iโm sure the reason these were made was because they knew the roots stay pretty wet all the time in this system so pumping air to the roots keeps everything healthy and taking in tons of nutrients for fast big growth. Keeps root rot out should come with the system in my opinion!!!

These are a must if you order Autopots get these at same time.
I think these should be included with the Autopots kit. However they work as described with no problems yet. I upgraded the bubble tubes with a Vivosun 5โ air stone.

READ UPDATE......Its not a joke, I thought so, but I was proven wrong, IT WORKS AND WORKS GREAT!!!
UPDATE......My plants are coming up on week 4. The control plants without the airdomes is 7 and 4 with air domes. The 4 with are a lot bigger, flowering faster, fuller, stems thicker, and overall better plants. I use 15 liter an hour pump with 4 fittings and its at full power. I turned it on on week 2. I was a little early but I saw results very fast. So fast I had to update this listing. These things work!!! They are maintenance free, cheap, and the payoff is a lot more than the investment.....Just fill your smart pots or autopots with RINSED hydro pebbles . Around 3 inches, covering about half the air dome, then pour in coco or coco loco. Run the airline up and out the pot and insert the barb, before filling....I wish I had got a stronger pump now....maybe 30 or more liters and hour...The more oxygen the better. I'm pumping 15l divided by 4....Active Aqua is the pump brand...i DIDN'T buy from Amazon and I do not use Autopots, yet. So I decided to experiment. Hydro pebbles covering about 60% of the dome, ran the stinger hose up and out holding the dome in place. FIlled smart container with coco and planted 4 plants with a 15 liters and hour air pump. I hooked the stinger hoses to the airline attached to the pump and turned it on after a week or two. My other 9 plants have the same lights, same food, same temps, same water. The only difference is no airdomes. Its been a week or 10 days and these 4 plants are considerably larger than the others, I mean its very noticeable difference. I leave it on 24/7. The plants are the best of 25, I kept the most vigorous plants of the 25. I wanted to be sure any differences could not be genetics are subpar seeds. All are plants you would be excided to have in your grow. They all look great, but the 4 with the dome are almost twice the size as the others. I had to go ahead and tie two down and Im gonna top the other two then open the canopy by tying down the limbs and tops. If you have any doubts, dont. If you set it up correctly it'll blow your mind. Rinse the hydropoic pebbles, assemble the airdome, place in the center of the pot, cover about 55-65% with the pebbles making sure they are even. You may need some help here because it tends to move as you cover it. POur your coco, you can even sweeten the coco with 30% more perlite. I didn''t think of doing this, plug the hoses up, water your medium with nutrient water around 600-700 TDS, and put the Jiffy pellet with the seedling in a hole you made in the wet Ph's nutrient coco and wait. Around the 10th to 15th day and you don't make any mistakes. You'll see what Im raving about. Plants that are considerably bigger than the ones without the dome..Coco is considered a type of hydroponics because its soilless and is very loose. Dont pack it down too tight. Fill container and bounce it on the floor a few times unitl it settles and repeat if necessary ...All you have to do is wait and reap the rewaards...This thing is magic. I highly recommend a root stimulator like golden tree, mammoth Tribus or make your own from Potassium, alage, phosphorus and OmniA from RAW NPK with Vitamin B...Enzymes and microbes really help too. Remember your water needs to be no more than 75 degrees or it can slow down or even harm your roots..I personally use RAW NPK NItrogen, Potassium, Phosphorus, OmniA, VitaminB, Silica, Enzymes, Grow microbes, Humic acid, Full Up, Cal Mag, amino acids, yucca, and molasses. With Raw Npk you use very small doses 1/16 `1/8 1/4, and 1 teaspoon...I mix everything listed above, plus 1 teaspoon of grow starting week two..I think I listed everything. I know RAW is expensive in most places but growgreenmi.com has it very cheap and free shipping....
