Abba: All The Songs: The Story Behind Every Track

This is an absolutely fantastic book. for anyone who is an ABBA fan. It`s very heavy, and consists of 525 pages including the `Index` - but excluding `Acknowledgement and Picture Credits. It is very informative and contains the most beautiful pictures, including many I`ve never seen before. The book has got it`s own fully instrated `dust jacket` complete with a lovely photograph of all four members of ABBA - and the same photograph is also on the front of the book itself. I will certainly be looking for a see-through protective cover to protect this book. THANK YOU, thank you to the Producer / author of this book for such a wonderfully documented history of ABBA`s wonderful songs. Most of all a very special THANK YOU to Agnetha, Frida, Benny and Bjorn - who are, of course, the combined musical talents who will NEVER be forgotten.

In depth detail of Every track written, including B-sides and some that weren't released at the time. A big book that goes into plenty of detail, a must have for Abba fans.

Brought for a friend for his birthday, he loved the book. It has loads of high quality photos and a detailed history of ABBA.

When you think of Sweden what do you think of? Cars? Furniture? Meatballs? Of course not!! You think of the supergroup and Eurovision winners ABBA!!! Love them or loathe them I bet you know every word to at least one or more songs of theirs. Their brilliant song writing skills combined with catchy tunes and the clever vocal style of overlayed vocals that sound like 6 people are singing make Abba the giant they are. This book covers the story behind every one of their songs and gives you a list of the personnel and wonderful facts and feats that make them the supergroup that they are. Read and enjoy!!!

Already had the Queen book by the same author. Both are very well written and packed with information.

There are plenty of books about the history of the band ABBA, but this is the first one I have found that gives all the information you could ever want about their songs. Every detail of every song is included, from the location where the recording studio was located to the individuals involved in the songs production. Each entry included an insightful look at the creative process and the book is filled with great pictures of the group. If you are an ABBA fan you will definately want to get this book.

Great ABBA book with every track they released from all their albums. It is a BIG book with all kinds of info like the beginnings, glossary, bibliography and index. Every track lists the lead singer/backing vocals, musicians, where it was recorded and when it was recorded, technical team, genesis, production - everything you would want to know about all the songs (hits, flip sides, non-hits). It lists the hits peak positions (mainly in Sweden, U.K and U.S) with some other countries listed here & there. Also, with dozens of photos (color & black and white) and some when they were very, very young. Being 528 pages long, there is lots to read about and learn. Not only informative, but lots of fun! A REAL must for any true ABBA fan! The list price is $60, but I got it for $27! So, also a great price. It came out a little over a year ago, but I didn't know it existed until now. Thanks for the release of a great book!
