I installed the Thermal Grizzly AM5 Contact Frame on my Ryzen 9 7900X3D system with a Corsair H150i AIO and Arctic MX-6 thermal paste, and the results were better than expected. Before the upgrade, my CPU would peak at around 73°C during OCCT stress testing. After installing the contact frame and reapplying thermal paste, my max temperatures dropped to 67°C — a solid 5–6°C improvement under full load. The system now runs cooler, more stable, and with less thermal fluctuation during intense gaming and productivity tasks. Once in place, it made a clear difference more even pressure, better contact, and also improves performance and overall functionality with more stable temps on my Ryzen 7000 setup. I also like that it adds a layer of protection around the CPU, which gives some peace of mind during installs. If you want to get the best performance out of your AM5 system, this frame is absolutely worth it.

Got these just to ensure my build has the best possible components (i don't recall any bending issues for AMD but while it may not be needed, it is prudent to have). Using it with an msi x870e board with a 9950x3d and don't really know if it helps with cooling (using a corsair 420 titan..I live in Fiji and currently the weather is quite hot (not hot like Australia, that's crazy but still pretty hot and humid). After doing some under volting (yes per ccd) idle temps are 47-50 and load temps haven't crossed 81 degrees celcius (so far well used Aida64 and cinebench). I like Debauer and TG products overall (use their paste too the kryonaut extreme pink paste) and TG hasn't failed me yet. Would buy again..and again and again for as many builds I build but alas, it seems like the little guy (us all) cannot do little guy stuff at this time (since we have little guy money and prices are uppity now). It replaces the stock SAM bracket and gives the CPU a more even, optimized pressure profile, which helps with cooler contact and keeps paste from spilling into the gaps around the IHS. I love everything Der Bauer does so take this with a grain of salt but, its a great product, makes paste cleanup super easy, and looks nice.

Makes for a easy instal, great build quality and packaging, and good instruction. However not every motherboard back plate is the same. Be sure that you either know that the back plate is fashioned into the motherboard without anything being screwed into it. Or that you have the stock cooler stands installed before removing the stock cpu bracket. Also it can take more screwing depending on the motherboard. The thermal past tobe is also very small.

First is this nicer than other Anodized IHS-ILM replacement kits? Yes! Is it worth 10-15$ more? Possibly because the paste you get is good for a few uses and is top tier paste with plenty of testing. You get the thermal pad that are hard to come bye and can cost 7-12$ themselves. You get 2$ in paste, a slightly better than "generic" AM5 ILM replacement, and $8 the thermal pad which are a pain to get. Which in individually would be $20-$30 purchased individually anyway.

I was a little intimidated at using this due to all the hype the MB manufacturers place on using their CPU holders. This thing made sense and looks great. Power the instructions I didn't use the gasket because I wasn't using liquid metal paste. Just be careful to not let the tools slip when preparing the MB and during the install, you don't want to damage any components.

Ich habe den Contact Sealing Frame zusammen mit meinem Ryzen 7 9800X3D verbaut und bin absolut zufrieden. Für mich ein kleines, aber extrem sinnvolles Upgrade für diese CPU. Montage: Das Anbringen ist dank der präzisen Passform absolut einfach und unkompliziert. Der Rahmen passt perfekt auf den Sockel und umschließt den Prozessor haargenau. Funktion: Er dichtet die markanten Zwischenräume des AM5-Heatspreaders perfekt ab. Bei einer High-End-CPU wie dem 9800X3D läuft so keine überschüssige Wärmeleitpaste mehr in die Ecken, was das Reinigen beim nächsten Kühlerwechsel enorm erleichtert. Zudem sorgt er für einen optimalen, gleichmäßigen Anpressdruck des CPU-Kühlers. Fazit: Ein kleines Teil mit großer Wirkung. Schützt die wertvolle CPU, erleichtert die Wartung und lässt sich kinderleicht montieren. Eine klare Empfehlung für jeden AM5-Builder!

付属のパッキンを使用すれば液体金属グリスにも対応します。また他の方が仰っていた通り他社のコンタクトフレームに比べてロープロファイルなため、am5純銅グリスガード金具を2枚追加で噛ませる事が可能です(意味が有るかはさておき)

Love this product the fit is just right and the additional gasket helps me be sure if I end up going with liquid metal i won't get any shorts in the future. The finish on the product is premium, and coming from the theralright version I do again appreciate the gasket for peace of mind and availability to use the other TIM if I ever get to it.
