I velcro my 15 in. Laptop to it. Used it onstage for a couple of years now. Threads stripped pretty quickly, be careful.

Its only attachment to anything is a mic stand. If your stand has that threading, then yes. The platform itself looks exactly like the one On Stage uses for their stand package.
